Artist are always bringing in new pieces so definitely revisit maybe once a month if you're in the area, I felt price and was very reasonable, especially since it was art. The store itself was very neat, clean, and organized . There was a kind gentleman who was helping me check out on July 5. He held good conversation and even helped me pick out a good piece of art that I was looking at. I try to hit up local artisan places because I feel they truly know the beauty of their own home as it is in their backyard.

I walked by and was instantly intrigued by what I saw when I walked past the front door. There is truly something for everyone in here. I was instantly drawn to the beautiful glass fused jewelry who was made by the artisan who happened to be working the shop that day, Lori. All of the handmade jewelry here was so beautiful- fused glass, sea glass, and my favorite dichroic glass jewelry. I ended up buying a matching dichroic glass pendant and ring set for $30 total. I get complimented constantly on them. I wanted to buy so much more!! Another of my favorites in the store was Queen Bee Herbal- natural soaps, lotions, bath bombs, and things of that nature. I chose the lemon chiffon hand & body cream because it smelled so delicious. I also bought about 6 of the bath bombs because hey, those are awesome! I just found her facebook page "Queen Bee Herbal" so I could find out where to buy more hand cream! Luckily it looks like she does the farmers market in Portland! I could have spent so much money in here. Another artisan creates drawings/paintings of cats, dogs, or horses frolicking along the beach having a good time like they are human beings. So whimsical and cute! Who doesn't have a crazy cat lady in their life? Oh and zombie knomes! Seriously so much cool stuff go check it out! On our recent trip it was this one which includes the one room log cabin where it all began 50+ years ago. We treat each visit like we are in an art museum as we so appreciate the artistic skills of these potters. They really curate a wide selection of products to choose from, the prices are so reasonable (especially when you consider most of it is hand made or small batch), and you can feel good knowing your money is staying in-state. I began knitting two years ago and love alpaca yarn, and the thought of being able to meet the alpaca that I am knitting from just seemed so cute. Mike was super friendly and very informative. There were 8 total people in our group (our 5 plus a family of 3) and he was engaging with everyone. Our 5 year old grandson started out a bit unsure but Mike was very encouraging and our grandson was able to really open up. What a great experience for kids. The shop is filled with yarn from the alpacas, and they make sure that you have the name of the alpaca as well in case you need more at a later date. I mentioned we would be back later in the year and would love to take the rug making class and they let us know we can schedule that through them for a date that works for us, so if you don't see an experience listed for your dates, call them or send them an email because they will work with you!

It is tough to add pictures because pictures wouldn't do this place any justice. I will say, if you get overwhelmed easily with a press of merchandise all around, you may need to steel yourself before going in. There are a lot of sections of the store, many cases of many things, so it is likely they have something you're looking for, assuming you're looking for magickal, spiritual, or other wares in those veins. There are varying levels of quality and price points. The staff are very nice as well, and if you have a particular interest they can guide you to that which you seek. They have 4 parking spots just for their store, and there is other parking nearby. They do not have a public restroom, that is at the bottom of the hill they're on. They do charge a card fee. If you're in town, or the area, come visit this store. I really think you won't be disappointed that you took the time to do so.

Every single inch, every nook and cranny, has something going on. Also - how can you not love a place that has glitter confetti ALL OVER THE GROUND?! It's a two-story "theater" (their words) offering "metaphysical gifts including Wiccan, spiritual, fantasy, and extramundane needs" (again, their words). My words? It's full of unique things and curiosities and wonders and magic and I don't totally understand everything that's happening here, except this must be the same feeling people in the (19)20's had when a carnival would roll into town... then overnight be gone! There's a few things to note about this store: they prefer you don't touch much (there are signs everywhere asking that you not) and they prefer you don't take photos (which is why you don't see many). And, because there's an overwhelming amount of stuff it can a) be very easy to get turned around in and b) can be difficult to navigate the extremely narrow aisles. Just be patient and allow yourself to take it all in!

There's a huge carpet in the middle of the room (at least with the current setup) but I can see how artificial walls could easily be brought in to make even more wall space. Having said that, it would also be a great space for sculptures. The woman working at the desk seemed very friendly, though I did not take the opportunity to chat with her much. I do feel like it's a bit of shame it's in the middle of a strip mall next to Shaw's, but we can't all land primo real estate I guess. Having said that, it's a perfect opportunity to drop by once every couple weeks before/after your grocery shopping. I believe I will do this in the future!

They are welcoming, not intimidating, and the Falmouth gallery has plenty of parking. The line up is always different at the Portland gallery than the Falmouth gallery. Both offer insights into Maine's artist community at the highest levels. Elizabeth is the right person to advise you on choosing art that works for you in your space-- office or home. Their framing services are top notch, but it's the art I go for. I make a point of visiting the galleries regularly. The shows change about once a month and even when I don't want to take any piece home, I do find the work intriguing.

Cool people doing very…read morecool things I actually found this place through the Historical Society of Boothbay Harbor. They were selling little patches that said Boothbay Harbor Historical Society for some cause or other but ran out of shirts. They told me to buy a shirt and bring the patch to this place to have them sew it on. It started to sound complicated but they said that the people at the Harbor Embroidery were really nice. So I ended up going there and they were extremely nice. They said come back in a hour and the work would be done. Well We came back and all the patches and shirts were united.. I'm not sure I'll ever have the opportunity to use their services again, but it was a pleasure dealing with them.
