It is tough to add pictures because pictures wouldn't do this place any justice. I will say, if you get overwhelmed easily with a press of merchandise all around, you may need to steel yourself before going in. There are a lot of sections of the store, many cases of many things, so it is likely they have something you're looking for, assuming you're looking for magickal, spiritual, or other wares in those veins. There are varying levels of quality and price points. The staff are very nice as well, and if you have a particular interest they can guide you to that which you seek. They have 4 parking spots just for their store, and there is other parking nearby. They do not have a public restroom, that is at the bottom of the hill they're on. They do charge a card fee. If you're in town, or the area, come visit this store. I really think you won't be disappointed that you took the time to do so.

This isn't just a store, it's local flavor!…read more Even if you buy nothing, you HAVE to come here just to walk around. There is SO MUCH TO LOOK AT. Every single inch, every nook and cranny, has something going on. Also - how can you not love a place that has glitter confetti ALL OVER THE GROUND?! It's a two-story "theater" (their words) offering "metaphysical gifts including Wiccan, spiritual, fantasy, and extramundane needs" (again, their words). My words? It's full of unique things and curiosities and wonders and magic and I don't totally understand everything that's happening here, except this must be the same feeling people in the (19)20's had when a carnival would roll into town... then overnight be gone! There's a few things to note about this store: they prefer you don't touch much (there are signs everywhere asking that you not) and they prefer you don't take photos (which is why you don't see many). And, because there's an overwhelming amount of stuff it can a) be very easy to get turned around in and b) can be difficult to navigate the extremely narrow aisles. Just be patient and allow yourself to take it all in!

It's gone through a change in ownership since my last review. While some of the items have changed, most has remained the same. The inventory has definitely grown and there's not as many "local Maine" items as there was. But it's all high quality, hand picked special things that need to find a home in your house. I just know whomever does the shopping to stock this store, is living their absolute best life when they go out on the hunt to source their products.

We love sourcing handmade and locally made treasures whenever possible. If you're looking for a new outfit, a present for a new baby and young ones alike, or a thoughtful gift for that hard to shop for person we are ready to greet you with a smile!" There's Maine-themed stuff, Maine-made stuff, ocean themed stuff, baby stuff, kitschy stuff, women's clothing, books, bags, candles, mugs, jewelry, and so, so much more. From my limited experience, they also really bring the holidays to life here, so if you were to visit around Easter it would be "dressed-up" differently than if you visited around Halloween. It makes you want to come back because... what seasonal gifties might you find?! A tiny chick-still-in-the-shell stuffed animal or an adorable bat print onesie? Depends on when you come. When I first came it was just to browse (I get the sense that if you wanted to visit, and reeeeaaaaally take your time just looking around, that would be totally okay!), but ended up buying 1) a really sturdy metal hair clip (that I was promised wouldn't break like all the plastic ones do) in white pearlescent and gold, and 2) *the cutest* retro, 90's-like, multi-strand necklace in pink cord, gold chain, and little cubes. Hard to describe, but it gives Taylor Swift Friendship Bracelet vibes. This warm and inviting place is one you really have to come see for yourself. Say hi to owner Hannah, she's positively lovely!

I love that it is run solely by volunteers and artist they each take turns manning the store. The art ranges from photos to clay art to jewelry and so much more . Artist are always bringing in new pieces so definitely revisit maybe once a month if you're in the area, I felt price and was very reasonable, especially since it was art. The store itself was very neat, clean, and organized . There was a kind gentleman who was helping me check out on July 5. He held good conversation and even helped me pick out a good piece of art that I was looking at. I try to hit up local artisan places because I feel they truly know the beauty of their own home as it is in their backyard.

I walked by and was instantly intrigued by what I saw when I walked past the front door. There is truly something for everyone in here. I was instantly drawn to the beautiful glass fused jewelry who was made by the artisan who happened to be working the shop that day, Lori. All of the handmade jewelry here was so beautiful- fused glass, sea glass, and my favorite dichroic glass jewelry. I ended up buying a matching dichroic glass pendant and ring set for $30 total. I get complimented constantly on them. I wanted to buy so much more!! Another of my favorites in the store was Queen Bee Herbal- natural soaps, lotions, bath bombs, and things of that nature. I chose the lemon chiffon hand & body cream because it smelled so delicious. I also bought about 6 of the bath bombs because hey, those are awesome! I just found her facebook page "Queen Bee Herbal" so I could find out where to buy more hand cream! Luckily it looks like she does the farmers market in Portland! I could have spent so much money in here. Another artisan creates drawings/paintings of cats, dogs, or horses frolicking along the beach having a good time like they are human beings. So whimsical and cute! Who doesn't have a crazy cat lady in their life? Oh and zombie knomes! Seriously so much cool stuff go check it out!
