Before the diagnosis I was considering changing anyway. They're impersonal and extremely detached and the vet who saw him I'd never seen before. Too much turnover . She was thorough and gave me the facts. We opted for medicine which only gave him a couple of months. I never heard from the hospital or vet again and my dog has been going there since he was 8 months old. I made the decision to lay him to rest but took him someplace that I thought was caring. Still no call from village vet and it's been a month since he was diagnosed and put to rest. There are better veterinary hospitals and found one! I think a true tell is when you take your where he's groomed to have him euthanized bc they care more than the vet who has serviced him for over 8 years.

My French Bulldogs first visit was great he got his shots and nails clipped and Heartworm meds - he has an aggression towards other dogs so they explained more about the Breed & because he is still a puppy and made sure there was no contact with other dogs in the waiting room - As we were leaving my husband was already outside with him so the Vet Tech ran outside and gave him his last shot outside instead of him confronting the other dogs again inside - Wonderful experience and glad I chose this facility !! One of the lovely techs gave our boy an MRI ... fluid around his heart. . . They referred us out; one choice was an animal hospital we used a few times and love. We weren't even charged! I got a quote over the phone for my 3lb puppy to get bath, brushed, nails clipped and haircut. The quote was $60 and when I picked up the puppy I was charged $100.00 and they didn't clip his nails or cut his hair everywhere, just his face! They kept telling me to take the dog to the ER and gave the impression he was going to die. When he pulled through after I was up all night syringe feeding him for 8 days, when I brought him back, they lectured me about not giving him a balanced diet! WTF the puppy ate nothing in his own. I was syringe feeding him the food they gave me to keep him alive. He finally ate eggs and they're like that's not a complete diet.

I have 6 kitties who eat quality kibble, get snacks, and catnip, and tons of love. My 8 and 3 year old boys are both neutered already, but I needed to get the 4 youngest done, and even though I'm low income, I believe if you're going to own pets, don't add to the already overpopulation of unwanted animals. I researched and found that Bryan Animal Hospital will fix your animal for $10 if you are low income and the state reimburses them the cost of the surgery (I think it's like 80%). In the past month, I took my baby Nero in first to be neutered to stop him spraying, and now he's no longer marking me! Thank you, Bryan Animal Hospital, for that! I only had to pay the neuter fee and the cost of medication for him to go home with, and his first series of kitty shots was free. You do have to get their rabies done or pay for it there, but there are free rabies clinics throughout Burlington County, which is what I did for my cats. The vet tech told me about the rabies clinics, which was awesome! I then took ZaZa in, and then Darla. They do offer extra services at the time of the spay and neuter, but they didn't make a big deal about me not wanting to add them on. When I took my last kitten in, they said she had an upper respiratory cold and needed antibiotics, which cost me $50, and I had to bring her back in 2 weeks later, which was today. I looked it up, because she wasn't coughing and didn't have any congestion or anything, and everything said that cats don't typically need antibiotics for that type of thing and it clears on its own. I took her in today, and they said she was fine for surgery, and I never even gave her the antibiotics, so I do feel like they prescribed her the medication without her really needing it. I don't like to give my kids any more medication than I have to, and I'm the same with my fur babies. I have to get them all their 2nd booster kitty shots but at the office they are $45 each so I believe I'm going to do that at a vaccine clinic for $15 each, just because there's so many cats, and I am on a fixed income. The techs and the vet are very sweet there and friendly. They will really make you feel like they care about your baby and help you feel confident about leaving them in their care. The staff is always accommodating. They communicate very well, especially around Lab testing and send reminders when our pet needs all care and/or yearly check up. They offer all the medication on site and they're very accommodating if you choose to go somewhere else to get the medication. We did leave and change vet for briefly after Covid because we didn't care for their Covid practices with not being able to go in the building with her pet. Once they went back to the normal process, we returned. As far as value, it's a veterinarian I don't know that there's value medicine for Pets. If you have a pet, you should be prepared to pay the pet fee fees that go along with being a pet parent.

Dr.Forsyth, I had hoped to speak to you but obviously you do not care to hear what I have to say. These are feelings I need to express to try to come to terms with the anguish you inflicted on my husband and I. It has been 5 months since Jules was euthanized and I am still traumatized by your actions that day. The grief of losing him is something I could have worked through but have been having extreme anxiety each night reliving the nightmare that took place here. I am seeing a therapist hoping to get past the pain you caused. Grief I can do. Being traumatized is something else. Your lack of empathy, compassion and communication that day is incomprehensible. During the last moments of his life to say that Jules had to be muzzled. My husband and I were so distraught that this day had finally come, we did not protest as we should have. But the worst was yet to come. You stood behind him, not even very close to him, not even putting your hand on him. Then viciously stabbed him with the needle causing him pain and fear. This is the scene I see as I close my eyes each night. When I asked you what had gone wrong you said rather nonchalantly and I quote, " I knew he would react that way." Only adding to the horror we were feeling. This was not a euthanasia gone wrong. Jules pain and fear were caused by what appeared to be your own fear or dislike of him. Or your total ineptness. We have had other cherished pets euthanized because we loved them and wanted to let them go peacefully. Each procedure was carried out with loving kindness by the vet. We loved Jules so very much. We spent 10 years giving him the best life possible and protecting him. Only to have failed him in the end by choosing you. A choice I will regret to my dying day. There isn't anything that you can say or do that will change that horrific day. Hopefully, this letter will reach you on some level. Maybe saving another beloved pet and their family from suffering the pain, fear. guilt anxiety and heartbreak that you so cruelly caused us.
