I bought a Groupon with the intention of trying out a new salon in hopes that I would find someone good to permanently do my hair. I walked in and was not even acknowledged for 10 minutes. Patricia came up to me and was Extremely rude from the start. She had no personality and seemed angry like she didn't even want to be there. The first thing she said to me rudely was do you want a toner it's $50 more. I said well I wasn't told that but I guess I'll need a toner. She rudely replied well it's in the Groupon you should have read that before coming. I should have left at this point but I figured maybe things might get better once she started. I then showed her a photo of the color I normally get for full highlights. She immediately got angry and said very rudely that's not full highlights that's pure color. I responded no I have never gotten pure color I have always gotten full highlights. I felt extremely uncomfortable and her attitude kept getting worse. If she would have kindly said there is a upcharge for what you are asking for I would have been fine with that but she didn't. I said can I please talk to the lady I booked my appointment with. She responded she isn't here and she's not a stylist so she doesn't know. I excused myself and walked outside in the cape she put on me to call the number I booked with. The lady I spoke to on the phone was very nice but at this point I didn't want to stay here. I walked back in and Patricia said give me my cape back and started pulling it off of me aggressively she said I am not doing your hair! I was in complete shock that a person would behave this way! Let alone someone in the business of customer service! I replied I do not want you to do my hair and left. Patricia has no business working with people she is honestly the rudest person I have ever come across in my life! They did offer me another stylist but at this point I didn't feel comfortable even being in the same building as this angry woman! read more

Not happy with color when I left. Although I provided a photo and was told we could accomplish this apparently stylist purchased toner prior to actually seeing me. At this point t she only saw photos. When she saw me she was committed to the toner she bought not me. Her words something g to the effect of, " I bot the toner, then saw your hair in person and realized your hair was actually a lot lighter than I thot. She told me this after she highlighted (but actually darkened) and toned my hair. Had I been told ahead of time, I would have certainly said thanks for your honesty let's reschedule. Get the right toner. Now I have had two entirely different tones of blonde Not blended but one color on the regrowth and the other on the rest of my hair for the last three months. The stylist was new and there was not single soul there to help her! Of course she needed guidance because she was newly graduated from cosmetology program. Quite disappointed. But live and learn. I had reservations from the start start due to mixups with stylists and scheduling and because I was aware the new girls are stuck taking the people who purchase Groupons. So we are punished for purchasing their offers. We are basically guinea pigs. But I needed it done so badly and I have not liked it since. Time to find someone to help me fix this!!! Big salon. I recently had the scalp & face rejuvenating treatment by Una Song. I really enjoyed the visit - it was so relaxing. She greeted me at the door and offered me something to drink. Una was so nice and explained everything about the health of my scalp so that it was easy to understand. My hair was a little dry and hard to manage when I came in. By the end of the visit it was silky. She showed me pictures of my scalp before and after the treatment and my follicles were clear. I did a double shampoo the night before so I was surprised to see that I still had buildup given that I wash my hair every day. I learned a lot about scalp care during the visit and ended up scheduling my next one in advance. She had a variety of products - I chose the Japanese line. I went here for the first time yesterday and let me say I am now a permanent client! Una is AMAZING! Upon arrival I was greeted and offered a drink, I didn't even have to sit and wait. The salon is super easy to find it's literally on the corner. Parking may be a little tricky but lucky I found one easy. I had a wash, cut & style and OMG the scalp massage during the shampooing was heaven. Una is super sweet and is open to whatever you want. She's an expert in Japanese hair techniques and straightening and a great colorist which I learned through our conversation so I will definitely be back. I've been getting lashes done by Christina for 8 years now and it's safe to say I won't let anyone else touch my eyes! In all that time, I've never had any issues with going eyelash bald or infections. On top of producing beautiful work, I love how clean she keeps her practice making sure to properly sanitize and hand wash throughout the appointment. I've also had my brows done by her and that's phenomenal as well! Great healing and shape. Since I've been a customer at the salon so long, I've found an amazing hair stylist. I asked for a trim and color. Tons of snipping later, my hair was much shorter than expected. But I figured it would grow back. I loved Janes personality. I left and planned on returning but once I got home and washed it the next day, to straighten it, I realized it was butchered. (She curled my hair after cutting it.) There was nothing I could do to fix it. In the weeks following, the color faded and I ended up with the most horrible hair I've ever had. It looked like a 5 year old cut my hair. I also got a balayage with Jane before COVID when I came here. She was trying to get us to pay for overpriced highlights instead of a balayage. She raised her voice and insinuated that my mother was the one that was "yelling" tone policing my mom who was speaking in a calm manner. Giving Samantha a 1 star but she deserves - stars in reality. She completely ruined my girlfriends hair and continuously bleach washed it and didn't test a strand like she said she would. Very unprofessional and then continued to full on bleach her hair and then once my friends head was burning practically off proceeded to laugh and say no it isn't. She worked on her hair for 9 hours and half of her hair is gone because she had to cut most of it off due to the excessive bleaching. She then told her to put no heat wash it not often and don't brush it too hard since then my friend has lost chunks of her hair even after and spent $300+ on products to help her hair get healthy again when she texted for a refund due to all the $ she's spent on products to maintain her hair Samantha ignored her. Christina took so much time with me made sure they were measured correctly. Normally after they peel, I don't have the color stay well, but they did with Christina's touch.
