My boyfriend and I were passing by at about 10:15pm on Wednesday night. The front door to the shop was wide open, the music was pumpin , and the open sign was lit. It says unisex on the sign so I wanted to ask if they cut women's hair too. I entered the door way, smiled and said hi, then said 'can I ask you a quick question?' He stepped closer, trying to hear over the music, so I repeated myself. He responded 'No' then proceeded to usher us back out of the shop and lock the front door behind us. He kept watch for a bit, as if we were gonna do something. Seriously... I would not recommend anyone using the services here. There are 4 other barbershops within the same vacinity.

I want money off m food is cold and we have been here for 3 hours. It was the worst experience. I will never go back there and do not recommend this restaurant it was a nightmare. My favorite is Akiel (sp?) he's got a great eye for how to style my hair, with an eye toward 'pushing' me to keep it a tad longer on top with scissoring into a low fade, late 1950's, mid 60's look, just before hair got long in 1967!! Rarely wait more than 10 minutes, 15 max. Fair price , $30 I think now [$10 tip ].

I came in and very clearly stated that I'm trying to grow my beard out, but I have an event tomorrow that I need to look nice for, and just asked for my cheeks and neck to be lined up, and my length evened out, but not cut any shorter than necessary. The guy then took a razor to one cheek and asked if that was a good length or if I wanted it shorter. While I actually wanted it much longer than that, I said it looked fine and asked for my beard to be faded into a point on my chin to try and salvage the style I was going for. He proceeded to give me a uniform length all around. Again, great work if this is the style of beard I was going for. But I had been growing my beard for over 6 months to try and get a certain style, and I'm furious enough that I'm most likely going to shave my face completely tonight. I've been to this barber shop half a dozen or so times in the last 2 years, and the majority of those times I've felt I've had major communication issues. If you don't speak Spanish, I would reccomended trying another barber shop.
