The last time I was in, she was at the counter when the hairstylist walked me up to pay. I didn't appreciate a comment she made about how long it had been since I came in last. I know. The last year hasn't been kind to me. It wasn't a neutral comment, it was very accusatory. Self care hasn't been high on my priorities, so I don't find it appropriate to further shame me for it. All that aside, I won't be back after my most recent cut. I told the hairdresser I wanted an angled bob and showed them an inspo picture. I came in with armpit length hair so this shouldn't have been an issue. They glanced at the pic, asked me next to no clarifying questions, and proceeded to give me a chin length lord Farquaad straight bob instead. They also did not provide a mirror to see the back so it wasn't until I got home and could get a good view of the back did I realize just how different it was from what I asked for. I hoped it was the styling, but even after washing and restyling, there's no way around it. This is the second time I've cried over a haircut I've gotten from hairdressers at this salon because they just don't seem to care about what I ask for, they just do whatever they want.
