Went it for a nail clipping, staff was awesome and friendly! Took less than 10 minutes and costs basically nothing!

They did a great job with Ava, and she really needed a bath. Will definitely be coming back at some point in the future.

I recommend this place to EVERYONE I know. I have 2 little dogs that HATE to be groomed (one is my…read moremom's) and have often been turn down by groomers. Some groomers even take up to 3 hours to get the job done on just one pup. Dani and her daughter are amazing. Miracle workers to be exact. We used to live across the street and got our dogs groomed regularly. My mom and her dog live 7 hours away and make the trip down here so Kaishing can be groomed to perfection by Dani. Mango gets trimmed at home by me and gets a beautiful short cut for the summer by Dani. We don't live as close anymore so we don't get to see them as much as we'd like but they're sincerely the best groomers in the state. I'm able to say this due to the fact that Mango has been to groomers all the way from Muskegon, Grand Rapids, Lansing, all over metro Detroit, the upper peninsula, South Carolina, New York, and even California. Dani is by far the best! I will never stop saying this and I will NEVER stop recommending them to everyone I know and meet in the future.

(and charged us $250 for the "privilege") The ladies at Dani's were so kind, patient, and more than willing to give it a shot with our "wild one", lol, and he now has beautifully clipped nails! We are so happy! Just sad that we didn't find these wonderful professionals SOONER!! If they can clip OUR dog's nails, then they can do ANY pet's nails!! We highly recommend this shop!! Thank you again, ladies!!

Karen of They Poop & I Scoop was FANTASTIC! Before I found her, I had called maybe 5 other places…read more They didn't want to do a one-time spring cleanup. They seemed offended. I found Karen on Yelp and gave her a call. Friendly as can be. She was in for a surprise though when she got to my yard and saw how much my purebred standard poodles poop. You'd think with a pedigree like that, they could be a little more dainty about it! Not so much! I thought lately they were doing a funny little prance in the yard but it was getting more like trying to find a spot to step. Yep, pretty bad! I hated to walk outside and ask how it was going. I was ready to be thoroughly shamed for being a BAD MOM. So bad! But she just laughed and said she wouldn't be able to offer me any discounts after all. She was worried to tell me that. I was worried she'd charge me a premium and put me on Hall of Shame on the 6:00 news. Her rate was more than fair and I was happy to pay it. She even bagged it all up for me and had a friendly chat with me before she left -- no shaming involved. The poodles are being groomed now into their prissy poofs. When they get home, they will be weirded out by their immaculate grass. Hopefully, they did their pooping of the day at the groomers. If anyone can tell me how to get them to quit pooping, I'm all ears. But then I won't have the fun of a visit from Karen again, so I guess pooping is a good thing.

It worked very well, got a quick callback but unfortunately I ended up not needing them.read more

I had really high hopes for taking my dog Sasha here…read more Unfortunately the experience fell very short. Let's start off with the most alarming (and yes, Sasha passed evaluation and was invited back): I tuned in to watch the camera in Room 1 from time to time and was disturbed every single time I dropped in to watch. 1. Another dog attempted to mount/hump her with no intervention from the staff member multiple times. I saw Sasha defend herself and push the other dog away with her paw at least twice. A pair of doodles actually ran up to intervene on one of the several occasions. 2. The hygiene of the play area is disgustingly atrocious. The dogs are allowed to urinate anywhere and everywhere. But what's worse is that a mop that just gets rung out gets used over and over and over again. Not rinsed or dipped in the bucket, just rung out and reused, Gross. I WATCHED this and was shocked. As soon as I picked her up, she smelled like she was drenched in stale urine. I immediately had to bathe her. And she's not a small dog! It was absolutely disgusting. Needless to say, highly inconvenient to need to bathe her right afterwards. 3. It was a beautiful day and one of the few left as we head into colder weather. The dogs got absolutely no outside time. What was the actual point in telling new customers about these outdoor features that none of the dogs were able to access. 4. Sasha is not new to dog daycare and does very well socially. Dogs in general are fairly intelligent. Sasha sat off to the corner by herself (as did a few other dogs, so not bizarre), but I noticed the dog monitor never approach or greet Sasha. Only walking past slinging a pee soaked mop and obviously counting down the dread of her job. The body language and lack of engagement, enthusiasm, and energy was incredibly apparent. Read: ppl that do the job to get a check vs enjoy working with pets. 5. This place inside reminds me of those tv prison yards. Perhaps I'm guilty of being overly attentive, but when it's a new place, I'm careful and vigilant. Quite a few of those dogs looked so so depressed. As though they were serving a prison sentence. And yes, there were also quite a few that seemed very cheery w/ a playful demeanor. But this tells me that the dogs are not properly evaluated for either the rooms or needs private play. Which leads me wondering... is this place just a cash grab??? 6. I prefer authenticity over the performative. Both individuals that I met were nice (check in/out), but it felt super manufactured. It was actually odd. Like if I had a dial, I would have turned the forced overt loud kindness from a 10 to 6. It's 2025, just be genuine. 7. The report card is BS. I purposely made no mention of what I saw, bc I wanted to get their version of the evaluation. But after receiving... "[Sasha was a bit nervous, initially, but maintained confidence with a regal like manner...]" -- what is that?!?! Maybe instead just say, Sasha was a bit nervous, she had no issues interacting with the other dogs, but she preferred being alone the majority of the time, we noticed another dog pestering her, she was quiet, but perhaps she will warm up with more visits." Conclusion: this place served the bare minimum. If you're looking for a convenient place to dump your dog for the day, sure, fine. But if you want a clean/hygienic, well monitored place, where your dog can be somewhat simulated and allowed fresh air on a nice day, this place is absolutely not it! And more importantly Sasha didn't like it. Not that I blame her. I'll pay more money for either a higher quality place or at-home care. Such a shame.
