I have always been tickled to see most of the puppies roaming free in the shop while visiting here. Upon grooming apt of 1/20/26, Disable Customer of said groomer for past 3 1/2 years, Their Salon Owner not the groomer was rude and verbally harassed disable elderly customer by arguing over customers comment of newly entered white dog barking excessively upon entry only because of customers quote, "Barking dog is sensitive to Loud music" . Salon Owner started to yell that , that was her shop, something was wrong with that dog not salon music and echo of shop noise arguing with salon disable customer. The salon owner kept yelling at elderly disable customer, whom only was trying to get her cane and coat, and her own dog out away from evil intent of salon owner yelling, of which salon owner grabbed customers dog and its carrier . Then shoved customers dog out the door whom was unleashed inside her carrier, customer stated, DO NOT TOUCH MY DOG, salon owner still making a scene, Salon Owner stood in way of open doorway and then yelled get out of my shop, disable customer stood just looking into owners eyes while salon owner continued causing a scene. No dog groomer or salon is worth going to if being treated with evil intent by salon owner..Customer of past 3 1/2 years of said salon did not deserve that verbal treatment. I have a french bulldog who has IVDD and a Boxer who we brought to Shear D Tails on Tuesday 9/12 from 1pm- 4pm. We asked them to keep our Frenchie separate from all the other dogs they have running around. Which they did in a kennel. The whole 3 hours he was there they did not offer him water 1 time. He came home and drank SO much water. When I called the owner with my concerns her response was "He will not be dehydrated from not having water for 3 hours". Which is true, but if that is how you handle every dog you have to keep separate from the other then that is very concerning and we should have been informed upfront that he will not be offered water for the entirety of his stay. We had them trim both dogs nails and they are still extremely long. I could take them somewhere else and get them trimmed again(See pic below). I have also had my dogs nails trimmed 3-4 times in the past year and no one has ever left them this long or came home with any issues. They also took clippers to my Frenchies head and gave him a razor rash and cut him on his head(See pic below). Which I don't understand how or why they would even attempt this. My husband informed them and asked for advice as he has bumps on his head and back right left that are SCABS. They had no advice and just turned to hurting my poor baby. They are also telling me they both got a bath but his private part is still yellow. I bathe my dogs almost every time and it is not a stain. I get it off every time I bathe him. They came home smelling like they were just sprayed down with a deodorizer. When I called the owner to explain all my concerns she told me they did the standard proceeder on both of them and I could bring them back in. She accused me of "looking for a fight" when all I wanted was for her to acknowledge what she had put my poor babies through. I even offered to send her pictures and she did not want to see them. All she could offer was to bring them back in. Why would I bring my dogs back to a place where clearly they do not have my dogs best intentions. The owner had no sympathy and was simply rude. I would never bring my dogs back or recommend anyone bring their dog here. Extremely disappointed and feel extremely bad as a dog mom for sending them to such a terrible place. read more

Yesterday was the first time my dog Parker was groomed at this salon. Parker is 16 and has become very anxious in his old age. When I called to make the appointment and explain the situation about his anxiety about being crated for hours, I was assured he would not be crated, and that they had several senior clients. When I picked him up I saw that he was calm and noticed a few dogs roaming around while the groomers worked. It is such a more humane way to treat our beloved pets. And I could see they genuinely love each one of them. I will definitely only use this salon for all future appointments! read more
