She was quick to respond, very detailed and helpful over the phone. We did not have time to do a meet and greet, but I felt confident all would be fine. She came to my house and made two separate trips: one with my larger dog (40lbs) and his kennel, and had to make a second trip because my small dog (12lbs) would not go with her initially and refused to let her catch her. But the second time, with the help of a neighbor, Anne was able to get Pumpkin in her kennel and take her to her house. Anne let me know all what was going on the whole time, but that she was going to get Pumpkin to her house no matter what. Once the pups were reunited all was well and Anne sent photos and texts to let me know how the play date was going. Anne has a pug who likes to play as much as my two- so needless to say, they were all pretty tired the next day. I will definitely be using her services again and plan to take my pups for doggie daycare while I am at work so they can play all day.

Amidst all the crazy planning though, I put pet transportation off until right before the weekend, and consequently really struggled with finding someone who could work with us so last minute! It took some work for Ann, but she arranged for Kim to meet us at the venue and take our pup home right after the ceremony. Kim not only safely got our dog back home late in the evening, but did it with minimal direction (I was going crazy and did not give her details!), treated our wedding guests very kindly during the handoff, and even managed to calm our dog (who was alarmed at our large crowd of guests!). To top it off, we came home to a bottle of champagne and a sweet letter from Kim and Salty Paws! What a surprise! It's a shame we don't live in Pensacola, but If we ever travel there on vacation, we will certainly contact them again! They didn't pick up the first time but I received a call back in less than a hour, which really surprised me. While trying to find the facility for drop off I was a little lost as you can't see the place from the road only a white sign. The drive up the dirty road was a little surprising to me as they don't have many pictures. I knew I had no other options on sure short notice. Walking in, the smell was alarming and the cats roaming around didn't give me the best feeling. They employees where nice and pleasant during check in. I was told over the phone that boarding was $18/a day and his bath would be $15. During pick up I was told the price was $90 which I'm not sure how they came up with those numbers if I dropped off Friday and picked up Monday (2 full days, 2 half days - $18/day and 1 bath $15) either way I didn't question it as I planned on tipping for the service. I didn't like that he was still wet when I picked him up and in the car he slept the entire time which is so not normal for a Shiba. However, They seem to be family owned which is great and I always try to suppose local businesses! I would use them again if I need boarding.

I have been bringing my babies to Klondike's for well over 3 years. Desiree the owner, is an incredible animal loving people person and I adore her. I had the pleasure of meeting Desi through a referral. My neighbor used Klondike's for her pitty mix and after a personal series of unfortunate events, I required boarding for my 2 dogs every weekend for several months. I have a Great Pyrenees and a Poodle mix and they have been absolutely spoiled by Desiree. My boys have loved coming to the kennel every single visit since. They know they are coming about 10 minutes away and you can tell they are stoked, My pyrenees has even jumped out my car window because I was taking to long to open the car door, all to get to Desiree quicker! The Kennel is on personal private property and Desiree lives a short walk away, which makes me confident my babies will be well taken care of. Desiree also handles all of my grooming needs. My boys had a photo shoot coming up and Desiree was able to squeeze them in for their regular doggy doo's. My boy's get so many compliemnts on how good they look. Desiree makes sure my Great Pyrenees stays free of mats and tangles in his abundence of fur. Thank you for your wonderful services Desi, you are truly one of a kind.

Our lab Mickey is 12 years old and very spoiled; for him to enjoy a place is very reassuring to us. (Both of our boys Love the pool that is available) Our second sweet angel is a 6-year-old Belgian Malinois (Tigger) with the energy level of 3 or 4 normal dogs and about an eighteenth of the attention span! We are very excited to have a new 'Home away from Home' for our two K9s, as we like to travel often (and for extended holidays). Knowing that there is a safe and comfortable place for our angels to stay, with an attentive staff, always makes our holiday more relaxing and enjoyable.
