We usually don't board…read moreour pets as we prefer to have in-home pet sitters but we had recently moved to town and our 95 pound labradoodle had just been diagnosed with metastatic cancer. We would have preferred to stay at home with the dogs, but since we were going to an immediate family member's wedding there was no way to cancel our trip. Since we didn't have have any recommendations for pet sitters and in her weakened condition our dog had trouble getting up off the wood floors in our new home, we made the difficult decision to board them. The staff at Home Away From Home could not have been kinder or better to us or our dogs. They were in the luxury suites so they could be together and we could see them on the web cam while we were gone. In addition, the staff put down throw rugs so Coconut could easily get up off the tile floor. Near the end of their stay, Coconut took a turn for the worse but the staff handled it beautifully. Dr. Liz called us to check in and fill us in on the situation. She then called our vet and discussed treatment options and called us back for our okay. She said we could call any time with questions and we made it clear we didn't want Coconut to suffer unnecessarily. Unfortunately a couple days later, Dr. Liz called back to say that our sweet girl had collapsed in the yard and was failing rapidly. We gave our permission for her to be euthanized. Dr. Liz texted shortly afterwords to let us know she was no longer in pain. When we picked up our other dog the next day, the staff were all incredibly empathetic and told us over and over what a sweet dog we had and how sorry they were. Not only that, Dr. Liz texted and told us they weren't charging us Coconut's boarding and put that credit toward her cremation fees! She also took an imprint of Coconut's paw for us. The doctors and staff at Home Away From Home were beyond professional, caring and generous. We would recommend them to anyone without any hesitation and definitely use them again if we need to board our furry family members.

Literally was told he peed on the blankets when I picked him up. He smelled horrible. He was hardly taken out and I called many times asking the reason and was told bc he's new and scared. So bc he was scared and new he has to sleep in his pee? Yeah I'd never leave my pets with them again.

This was the first time we have ever left our little girls with anyone. The Fetch Fido team went above and beyond making sure that our pups were well taken care of. Our Chihuahua's can be a little bit of a handful. One is blind and very distrusting of strangers, however the sitters never stopped trying to get her to warm up to them. They must have succeeded as they were able to get some pretty darn cute photos. They always arrived on time, stayed the full appointment timeframe, and gave lots of love and treats. We loved getting the updates and photos after each visit. Upon arriving home our girls were happy and didn't even seem to miss us-a testament to just how great Fetch Fido did.

Anne was a life saver and I am so thankful that she was available to keep our two babies when we…read morewere out of town for a night and called last minute! She was quick to respond, very detailed and helpful over the phone. We did not have time to do a meet and greet, but I felt confident all would be fine. She came to my house and made two separate trips: one with my larger dog (40lbs) and his kennel, and had to make a second trip because my small dog (12lbs) would not go with her initially and refused to let her catch her. But the second time, with the help of a neighbor, Anne was able to get Pumpkin in her kennel and take her to her house. Anne let me know all what was going on the whole time, but that she was going to get Pumpkin to her house no matter what. Once the pups were reunited all was well and Anne sent photos and texts to let me know how the play date was going. Anne has a pug who likes to play as much as my two- so needless to say, they were all pretty tired the next day. I will definitely be using her services again and plan to take my pups for doggie daycare while I am at work so they can play all day.

Amidst all the crazy planning though, I put pet transportation off until right before the weekend, and consequently really struggled with finding someone who could work with us so last minute! It took some work for Ann, but she arranged for Kim to meet us at the venue and take our pup home right after the ceremony. Kim not only safely got our dog back home late in the evening, but did it with minimal direction (I was going crazy and did not give her details!), treated our wedding guests very kindly during the handoff, and even managed to calm our dog (who was alarmed at our large crowd of guests!). To top it off, we came home to a bottle of champagne and a sweet letter from Kim and Salty Paws! What a surprise! It's a shame we don't live in Pensacola, but If we ever travel there on vacation, we will certainly contact them again! We are new customers with a 2.5 yr old female Great Dane. We've tried multiple groomers and 2 veterinarians. She's not aggressive...she just turns into a giant bucking bronco as soon as the clippers come out...even though we've never actually been able to actually clip her nails! It's like other dogs told her what they were at the dog park or something. Anyhoo, the wonderful groomers (ALL of them, it sounds like!) were able to WWE her onto the floor and successfully completed a full trim of all of her nails.
