Don't let the outside fool you -- Crystal Creek Spa and Massage stays busy for a reason…read more I made the (very wrong) assumption that I could just walk in on a Sunday and be taken right back. Nope They were fully booked when I arrived at 3 PM and asked me to come back at 5 PM. That's obviously great for them -- but learn from me and call ahead to make an appointment! I ended up doing a 30-minute table massage and a 30-minute foot massage, and my husband did a 60-minute table massage (he does not like his feet touched, so foot massages are absolutly not his jam). My massage was wonderful. Honestly, the table portion felt longer than 30 minutes -- whether it was or not, they made it feel full and thorough. They worked on my back, arms, legs, shoulders, upper chest, and even included a facial massage, which I wasn't expecting but absolutely loved. The gentleman who worked on me checked in consistently to make sure the pressure was comfortable but still deep enough to work out the knots in my back. It was the perfect balance of relaxing and therapeutic. The prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of massage you receive. And it's super close to my house, which makes it even better. Next time I go, I want to try their foot reflexology because I've never done it before and now I'm curious. But I will absolutely be back. This place is a little hidden gem and I wish I had tried it sooner.

After the massage that seemed rushed through and in a big, when it came time to check out, he tipped appropriately for what was received. The massage therapist asked him why the tip was so little and if it was accidental, which it was not, and if he would like to run his card again. Let me add that there were other patrons in the waiting room, making this even more highly inappropriate. I am so disappointed I sent him for a massage at a place like this. I will never recommend this place again.

I got a deep tissue massage and that was really good. The girls and I hit the sauna afterwards and that was fun but it is a bit small. I mean, I couldn't even drive there because I couldn't do "mirror, signal, head check (mostly the head check part). I called in and spoke with Adura one of the massage therapists. We made an appointment for 12:30. I arrived at 12:15 for paperwork. Audra explained that she is mostly a "treatment" therapist meaning she does more of the healing instead of the foofy foof. For this particular visit, treatment for my messed up neck was exactly what I needed. I had no time for tom foolery. The room was warm and dark. I loved the music playing; not your typical classical crap. I think this was a greatest hits CD of love songs and it was louder than music at prior massages. Audra was PHENOMENAL. She did rarely talked and worked out so many kinks from my neck and did a lot of different stretching. Very knowledgeable about massage therapy. AND... she rarely spoke. Even though this was a therapeutic massage, it was also relaxing not to hear someone gabbing. Afterwards, I felt great! I was very happy with my massage. I have a few other LMPs I recommend but for anyone with an injury or a sore spot, I recommend Audra M. Stott at Massage on the Ritz. The price is right (regular price is $55 and if you come every 30 days it's $45) so it's worth at least checking out.

AMAZING! My mom and I swung by to check out this new local biz. If you've never tried one (this…read morestyle of massage), I'll just say, it's kind of one of those "lifesaver" options when your body is in a tangle and you just need a fix - and waiting until your therapist is available (if you even have one), etc. just doesn't feel like an option. Both of these gentlemen did such a fantastic job. Here's a little breakdown... - Open from 10am to 10pm (walk ins are the norm) - Did the 1 hour - $30 foot massage - Tip $10 (THEY EARN IT!!!) - Walked in and they were able to see us immediately - Peaceful, mild scent of green tea and lavender - It's an open air style room with multiple beds - I suggest wearing minimal style clothing such as "bike" shorts, yoga pants, spaghetti strap tanks, no bra, etc. - Be sure to tell them your preferred pressure (light, hard, etc.)... they bring new meaning to deep tissue, if that's your thing! - Started with a nice foot soak while laying on our backs (knees bent down into soaking bucket) - Amazing face and head/scalp massage - Placed a cloth over eyes for relaxation - Did neck, arms, and collar bone area (lots of pressure and stretching motions to really loosen things up - Worked on hip flexers, thighs, and calfs - Did an intense and very intentional foot and ankle massage *Note, heard him wash his hands after doing my feet, which was appreciated - even though they'd been soaking for at least 15 mins... I'm kinda a clean freak. They also used really warm towels to remove any moisturizer before pulling down my yoga pant legs. - Asked me to flip onto my stomach and proceeded to do my neck and move down my back - Worked on my really jacked up hips and lower back - Really loosened up my legs and calfs Was greeted at the front desk with a bottle of water - and a cup of water to ensure we flushed out the toxins (important after a massage) and a nice mint. Gave us stamp cards to get a free massage after ten, I believe. They offer other massage services, but the 1 hour, $30 massage is my absolute favorite. You can pay a more standard rate to get a more traditional, private massage in a separate room. This place is a respectable, legitimate place so don't go there expecting any funny business. Best $30/$40 I've spent in a long time! I may seriously go back tomorrow!!!
