I was pressured by the massage therapist about the amount of the tip to give. I normally give 30% when they're great, but this woman was insulted by 20% and it was just an all right massage. I'm going to keep looking for another massage, but I'll probably go back if they have one the good masseuses available. read more

Ok so I usually love this place, but the last time I went in I left a very sentimental necklace and pendant in the belongings basket while receiving my massage. Once I realized I left it I called and was told it was nowhere to be found which I know is ridiculous. Called a few more times to give them an opportunity to return my necklace but to no avail. AMAZING! My mom and I swung by to check out this new local biz. If you've never tried one (this style of massage), I'll just say, it's kind of one of those "lifesaver" options when your body is in a tangle and you just need a fix - and waiting until your therapist is available (if you even have one), etc. just doesn't feel like an option. Both of these gentlemen did such a fantastic job. Here's a little breakdown... - Open from 10am to 10pm (walk ins are the norm) - Did the 1 hour - $30 foot massage - Tip $10 (THEY EARN IT!!!) - Walked in and they were able to see us immediately - Peaceful, mild scent of green tea and lavender - It's an open air style room with multiple beds - I suggest wearing minimal style clothing such as "bike" shorts, yoga pants, spaghetti strap tanks, no bra, etc. - Be sure to tell them your preferred pressure (light, hard, etc.)... they bring new meaning to deep tissue, if that's your thing! - Started with a nice foot soak while laying on our backs (knees bent down into soaking bucket) - Amazing face and head/scalp massage - Placed a cloth over eyes for relaxation - Did neck, arms, and collar bone area (lots of pressure and stretching motions to really loosen things up - Worked on hip flexers, thighs, and calfs - Did an intense and very intentional foot and ankle massage *Note, heard him wash his hands after doing my feet, which was appreciated - even though they'd been soaking for at least 15 mins... I'm kinda a clean freak. They also used really warm towels to remove any moisturizer before pulling down my yoga pant legs. - Asked me to flip onto my stomach and proceeded to do my neck and move down my back - Worked on my really jacked up hips and lower back - Really loosened up my legs and calfs Was greeted at the front desk with a bottle of water - and a cup of water to ensure we flushed out the toxins (important after a massage) and a nice mint. Gave us stamp cards to get a free massage after ten, I believe. They offer other massage services, but the 1 hour, $30 massage is my absolute favorite. You can pay a more standard rate to get a more traditional, private massage in a separate room. This place is a respectable, legitimate place so don't go there expecting any funny business. This establishment seems like a hole in the wall. Literally on the corner of a busy street but oh so convenient. Scheduled an appointment easily. Unfortunately front desk lady didn't speak English well but we got through the conversation. Massage in an hour not bad timing. Once arrived, large sign with the services and I opted for the $50 massage - 60 minutes. The lady brought me to the back, passing other booths and tables. Private area and she massaged me. I think I fell asleep twice, which is a good sign. Like all good massages, it went by too fast. Really enjoyed it and will most likely go again. read more

Ok hubby and I made an appt for the first time!! Michael did my hubby and omg... we will be back!! Owen did me and omg... it was great. My guy was older and knew exactly where to go. They work way too deep. I left feeling ok but then a few hours later I am in so much pain I am in tears. I told the lady it was hurting but she did not seem to understand me do to limited English knowledge. There was no foot work in a full body massage and most of the work was done with you on your stomach. The massage felt very rehearsed like they had a script to follow. The bottles of water shown in the pictures and beautiful bed covers seem to be a thing of the past. To add insult to injury the lady asked for a tip. How tacky. To avoid conflict as in previous comments we gave her $20. The hot stones where nice but too short. The heated towel felt wonderful. Though I do not recommend this place to anyone. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT I was drawn to this new place after seeing the $30 sign outside. When I came in for the massage, they said it was actually 40 which made it feel a little bit like a scam. Nonetheless, I still got the massage and while I was waiting to be tended to, I saw what looked like the mother and daughter fighting each other on who would massage us. Neither of them clearly wanted to do it. Overall, the quality of the massage was average. It was relaxing but at times was very painful. The issue here was that it was hard to communicate the level of pressure because all but one guy didn't speak any English. I would probably go again if they actually stuck to their advertised price and were able to communicate just enough to speak to customers. read more

Made an appointment for an hour massage- when I arrived the woman told me to go up the street to their other store " Miracle" of return in an 2 hours. I said I didn't want to go anywhere else and that I had an appointment. She said there had been a mistake-although I was quite irritated; I headed over to the other place, where a lady came out and said she was the only one there and with someone and it would be over an hour wait. This seems like the only place in town where you can walk in without booking someone a week in advance. If you're looking for an expert in reflexology or massage therapy, this isn't your spot. I realize everyone is doing the best they can with Covid..... I was in dire need of a massage. I thought I would give this place a chance. I called ahead and scheduled an appointment. It was $70 plus tip-- I tipped because I felt bad for the woman that first started my massage. Total charge $90. It started out OK. The table is nice and it is clean. However, they massage on top of the sheets for way too long and there is a doorbell that keeps going off throughout the entire massage. The woman that was doing the massage was super sweet and when she finally got to the massage part after rubbing the sheets for 10-15 minutes, the doorbell would ring throughout the time. A man would come and speak to her in another language. Her movements would change and the massage would be tense. I would have to re-start my relaxation breathing to try to relax. After about 45 minutes, the man came and talk to her again, and this time she left, and he came in and started over and sort of massaged me but quit almost 10 minutes early. They barely touched my hands nor feet --they didn't even ask me my preferences. In hindsight, I am getting a little freaked out because I don't know if the guy washed his hands and put a different mask on or what they did when they were switching positions. Why was my scheduled massage less important than a walk-in customer? I am really sweet and I don't like confrontation so I was nice and I paid my bill and left. Now I am filled with regret. I was so sore the next day as well. If you are like me,and you can't relax with constant interruptions, I would not recommend this place. read more

The massage therapist Mike gave a very firm massage and was intuitive enough to know when to apply and when to tone down. Overall the best massage I've received in years. Wow, I got a full massage today due to it was my Birthday and I've been having issues with my right shoulder. I got a massage from Sisi and she did an incredible job ironing out my knots in my shoulder area and in general every where else. They really work hard in making you feel better than when you came. I scheduled and paid for a 90 min massage which I was very appreciative of since almost everywhere else was completely booked up! But then while getting a massage I had to ask the person giving the massage to please focus more on my shoulders instead of my buttocks and lower back after I started to feel uncomfortable, then at the end he tried to tell me I had to add a $200 tip for my massage on top of the shop price. I asked if tip was optional and why he felt it was appropriate to deny me trying to pay because I didn't add the tip he wanted. I finally was able to add $8 and pay and leave after arguing with him and insisting I would not be adding an extreme amount like that as a tip. If I could give 0 stars I would. The price is great, but the so called massage I received was more of a physical assault/mugging. My GF and I went as she had been on her feet all day. She had a "good" experience but I had to stop the massage as the person would not listen to me with respect to not using ANY pressure in my lower back. There was not a single phase (Head/foot/shoulders/body) that was relaxed BG or enjoyable. The person had NO IDEA what they were doing. WAY TOO MUCH PRESSURE and zero technique. I scheduled an appointment and was skeptical because they didn't ask for my name or number, they just told me to show up at 3. I showed up and was taken to the area for my massage, I wasn't offered anything, tea, water, etc. My appointment started 10-15 minutes late with no apology or explanation. The massage was very painful and pretty much only one portion of my body was massaged and that was my back. When I ask for a full body massage I expect my entire body to be massaged not just my back which is what I received. When the massage was over I put my clothes on and paid, and they had a bite sized cup of water waiting for me along with 3 pieces of candy. Because I was not satisfied with my massage I did not leave a tip and the lady at the register was unprofessional and asked me why I didn't want to leave a tip. I told the lady I didn't want to leave a tip and she replied "but why", and I responded again "because I don't want to". She then replied "but we work hard", I didn't reply and waited for a receipt that I never received and then I left. That was the worst customer service and massage I've ever received. I have been to several foot massage places in the past and I was excited to try this place out. When we first walked in, the place is clean and front desk staff friendly. We chose the $40 body and foot massage. I was surprised to see that the chairs are separated by screens, something I have never seen before in places like this. It felt sketchy. I asked if my boyfriend and I could sit together and the lady, nodded no. I am not sure why because in the back of the room, there was two chairs together, still separated by a screen. The tub of water was brought back and I was asked if I wanted the oil massage, which is $50, I thought why not. She told me you get naked down to your underwear. I also have never experienced this at a place like this. The lady giving me the massage came in and started massaging my head. It was ok until she was tugging at my hair, it was not pleasant. The foot part of the massage was ok, she mostly just rubbed my feet, no reflexology as I have experienced in the past. Then came time to roll over. She stayed in the room and told me to take my top off, just to face down and she pulled off my top. I am not shy and all about massaging my behind, but she pulled my underwear giving me a wedgie several times. The massage in general was less than average and for a place like this pretty expensive! My boyfriend said his massage was pretty good. I am sure it depends on who you get. I don't know if I will go back since there are other places that are better and less expensive. My sister takes me to get a massage. I called at 4:14 and made reservations for 4:30. We get there at 4:28 and they aren't ready for us. Another customer comes in and the female employee tells us that she could take one person now but she can do two people at 6:00 pm. So at this time it's almost 5:00, my sister and I leave and let the customer that came in after us without a reservation get her massage first. We come back at six they're not ready for both of us again. We wait 10 additional minutes. Long story short my sister tipped them a total of $5 and they were mad. The woman who rang up the sale summoned the man who had massaged me and he's the one that told us "only $5 for one? No $5 as he points to the woman and $5 as he points to himself.
