But it's the suitcases I came to see and I found the perfect one. The manager was so very knowledgeable and the selection was quick and painless. Great selection and I even lucked into a "sales event". This is my second Bentley's purchase in 3 months, the last was a new rolling laptop bag. Both experiences very positive with well informed staff.

When I was visiting Victoria, I passed this business daily. On my final day, I came into the shop…read moreand thought it would be wonderful to try some of the draped garments. I was very excited to see several items that would make great purchases. Imagine my surprise when the associate wouldn't even let me in a fitting room. She told me that she usually took a size XXL and that the dress I wanted didn't fit her. I started to sweat and feel judged for my size, but the clothing was so gorgeous that I was willing to be humiliated for it. I told her I usually wore a size 10-14 or an L, and that her comments were unnecessary and hurtful. I kept stepping back because the entire interaction was incredibly judgmental. The associate actually had the nerve to tell me they might have things that could "fit [my] body," as if she was being helpful, all before I had ever tried an item on. I left in tears without trying anything on. Being curvy, I'm used to people either loving or hating my form. What I've never had happen is for an associate to be so judgmental and openly offensive. She probably thought she was being honest, but I spent the rest of my visit to Victoria devastated that someone basically told me that I was too fat to try on clothes in her store. What a shame. I was ready to spend money and sing the praises of an organic local business. It seems like they care more about the environment than the people who live in it. My experience was unacceptable.

Love Good Things…read more Over the past few months, I have consigned dozens of items here. The staff are competent, professional and kind--I absolutely adore every single person including the owner, and especially Gita. As both a seller and a buyer, the prices are extremely fair and the endless supply of beautiful objects (with high turnover) keep me reinvesting all my earnings back into the store. I highly recommend consigning items here, or browsing the aisles for gorgeous, unique items in lieu of mass produced, lower quality modern equivalents. You will leave happy every time.

I had dealt with him before & found him pleasant so this completely took me off guard. He was brusque, condescending I would have stormed out after he kept repeating himself & trying to educate me on the inferiority of my items except said items were spread out over a table & trolley. Impossible to escape! Fire this guy, he is arrogant & unprofessional!

Organika's head office is in Vancouver. It's produced in Canada, ostensibly from North Canadian fish, so it's unlikely to have arrived in Victoria via the Strait of Hormuz. So why such a hefty increase all of a sudden?? No response from LD to an enquiry about this . . . . This makes London Drugs look really bad :(

A new addition to the Victoria shopping scene, they've filled the spot between Pig and the entrance to the Atrium. With floor to ceiling windows and a beautiful interior, you'll wish your closet had this lighting, not to mention to the space. While it looks amazing with the shoes set up more like art than those boring old shoe racks you're used to, Head Over Heels has a range of prices and offers. From affordable, sustainable, fabulous TOMS, to handmade Spanish and German brands you've never heard of, and some staples from Birkenstock that you'll never grow tired of. They have a ton of great local and Canadian-made jewelry, and hand bags and are excited to be open, so the service is really great. They are looking to start supporting some local women's groups with shoe donations too, so you'll really be embracing a new business in the Victoria shopping community that's out to do some good. So nice to see a TOMS (I'm a superfan) selection beyond the classics. They have some awesome wedges that will soon be mine. The handmade Spanish numbers have my name on them too. Most of the staff are extremely friendly. Twice over the last few months I had such extreme positive experiences I was actually surprised (I worked at a Walmart long ago). I decided to write this review as many of the reviews here have troll vibes and seem insincere. Especially people who don't even live here. The one about racism surprised me the most, as few employees are white. I'm part Indigenous and this is one reason I like places like Walmart (I get it, bad corporate) and Fairway. Some places in Victoria especially grocery stores have zero people of colour working. I have never seen that anywhere else in the world. Zero. And I've had far worse customer service at Thrifty Foods at Hillside or Quadra and Cook. Great store.
