I recently had to see a cardiologist, and was referred to Dr Abrahamian at Piedmont Heart…read more Without a doubt, this is one of the best doctors of any type I've ever been to. Besides being extremely knowledgeable, his bedside manager was amazing. He explained everything in terms that I understood, took his time, and was very calming and reassuring. I have a couple of doctors at Mayo Clinic, and thought they were the best ever, but Dr Abrahamian was even better. The office was also very efficient at scheduling follow-up tests and working with me to fit my schedule. They also provided me with a written summary of my office visit outlining everything we discussed and tests to be performed. Ellijay is very fortunate to have such a great cardiologist. I only hope we can keep him here!

We were referred to Dr. Sabino due our son's EKG requiring further investigation…read more Our first encounter with Dr. Sabino was extremely positive. He has a way of managing anxious parents during a stressful situation. I particularly liked the way he first introduced himself to our son, found a commonality with him (soccer) and then had our son introduce us. After all the testing showed that everything was fine with our sons' heart, his delivery of the good news was stellar. Dr. Sabino speaks to parents and their children in a manner that is understandable and honest. Even though we will not be seeing him again, I highly recommend him as a pediatric cardiologist for the care of your child.

The billing is horrid at this business. They will say they have sent you bills Which doubtful…read morethey did. But US mail so that's not saying much...and then they will call your emergency contact for a $100 past due bill. It amazing to me that an organization like this is so hard up for the $100 or the need to keep those accounting employees on task that they will go thru my file and contact my emergency contact. So I'll not be putting an emergency contact on my stuff anymore if that's what it's going to be used for. I thought that was for if I passed out or something like that not that you can collect your bill. $123 at that.

The physicians were fine and ultimately they treated my illness which is what I expected. My biggest complaint was that they charged much more than the usual and customary charges for my visit. Which meant that my insurance paid their portion and I was stuck with a bill of ridiculousness. Paying this bill to avoid collections on my credit report is a terrible feeling. I feel for people who don't have the means to pay these over-charges and end up with credit issues, when their health was their top priority.
