Finally, an electrician that doesn't play games. One person operation with full accountability and…read morea 'let's get it done' attitude. Good communication either through email, text or phone. I had a bucket list of items that I needed help with. I got ridiculous quotes from other electricians, $2200, $2600, $2500. Marty came by, looked at the job and had decided the best course of action what to just do Time and Materials at his hourly rate. It saved him from underestimating/overestimating and I could manage the costs fairly. Items completed: 1. Deck Post light caps: Caseta switch installation. Also diagnosing some incorrect connections (I had made incorrect connections previously). Wiring an incomplete LV wiring run to complete a 'missing' section of lights. 2. Under deck puck lights: 15 Amp box and 2nd Caseta switch installation powering puck lights 3. Troubleshooting Magnitude MLV Transformer (found bad caseta switch and worked with Lutron support to diagnose and get replacement) 4. Installed heat tape on troublesome (ice/snow) roof section I got everything done for roughly $600.00. (I bought all the materials in advance ~$100 worth and did some "brain dead" stuff myself (like running 14/2 UF wire through existing conduit). In any event, I was thrilled with T&M as was he. I believed I saved roughly $1500 by spending an hour or two myself and having Marty come in for the rest. I think I found my new 'go to' electrician in my area. Fair, honest and hard working.

I texted Steve some questions regarding this, he got right back to me, and even took the time to troubleshoot my inquiry...on a Saturday! He then provided me with a comprehensive proposal that day, and included multiple helpful options and prices. He ordered my materials and installed everything in about a week! Steve was on time, professional, thorough, and very friendly. He took the time to help me setup an app on my iPhone that works with my new fire/CO2 sensors. He even told me if I have any questions or concerns, he would research them and get back to me. Steve is the best electrician, hire his company!

I looked on the web for local electricians with good reviews and found Steve. I set up an appointment and Steve was right there. He talked through the work with me and all the what if scenarios for the job. I received a quote very shortly after. We scheduled a date and Steve came and did the work. Is he the most inexpensive? No, but you pay for what you get. And in this case, I got exactly what I paid for - good service, the job done well, and a very organized transaction. Not to mention, Steve is very personable, which makes it easier. I have to say that, in all my time, I have never seen a contractor who is so organized in my life. I am a big believer in doing what you say will do and Steve lives by that. I will definitely use him again.
