Marty is fantastic! We hired him to replace around 25 recessed lights, to inspect and fix loose wires and poorly installed fixtures in our newly purchased home in Durham (built in the 1950s and has undergone many DIY renovations of varying quality), and to install new lights in our garage. He provided a thorough and free estimate of services, and was incredibly patient and helpful as he went through our list of needs and explained things in detail when we had questions. Marty was able to schedule time to work on our home within a couple of weeks, he completed the work in a timely manner, and while his rates are not necessarily "cheap", they are quite reasonable given his expertise and skill. He cleaned up after himself as he worked, and was incredibly organized, neat, and detailed. He provided prompt estimates and invoices for his services, and was great at communicating with us throughout the process. Marty is very knowledgable, worked efficiently yet carefully, had suggestions for different ways of proceeding when we asked for them, and provided an excellent experience overall. We highly recommend him! read more

We highly recommend Marty, he did a fabulous job for us! We purchased a large unfinished house with a complex of garages and offices, "as is". We asked him to map out a complete schematic of the existing electrical, as we had zero information to start with. It was a complicated, time consuming project, and he was extremely thorough and knowledgeable. He patiently went over every detail with us, answered all our questions and noted the issues that we needed to address. He provided schematics and photos of every box and wiring for every room in a clear and readable manner, that will be extremely valuable to us as we proceed with our renovation. Marty is professional to deal with, very personable, his pricing is very fair, and we will without question have him back to do additional work, as well as recommend him to our friends! read more

Marty was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. He replied to my request for site inspection very quickly and gave me a fair and honest quote. Explained everything and was in touch throughout the process as my hot tub was scheduled for delivery. Marty was extremely clean and thorough in his work----just a really great process all through and I look forward to working with Marty on future projects at my home. We purchased a home in southern Maine, and needed an electrician to install new light fixtures, a ceiling fan, programmable thermostats and an electric heater for our in-ground pool. We found Marty, and we are glad we did! Marty gives you a quote before work starts so you know what to expect! He shows up when scheduled, works efficiently, cleans up after the job is complete, and explains what he's done. We have been completely satisfied with the multiple jobs Marty has done in our home, will continue to use him, and highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality work done at an affordable price! read more

I highly recommend Marty for your electric needs! He is extremely professional and personable. We have had him do 2 jobs for us so far, installing a bathroom light/vent fan and installing 2 ceiling fans. We were originally going to install 4 ceiling fans, but due to a change in our budget we only did 2. We will definitely be calling Marty to come back and do the other 2! He is very conscientious about the space he is working in, and did an amazing clean up job before he left. We have found our electrician! I wouldn't want to use anyone else! read more

Martin Robert performed a variety of minor electrical work: - installation of light fixtures - installation of outlet - repair of mis-wired outlets - change some outlets to GFI - hang chandelier Marty is an excellent communicator. He is clear about what work should be done and why, but also flexible and explains well when the situation doesn't allow adherence to plan. Work was done when he said it would be, and price was as quoted despite surprises in the wiring of my 100+ year old house. He won't disappoint. read more

We needed an outlet installed for a new tv we bought. I consider finding Marty by a random internet search a stroke of great luck. Our entire interaction with him from estimating visit to completion of the job was fantastic. He was prompt, prepared and professional and had the outlet wired in an hour or so. Plus, he showed up wearing a mask, which says a lot about how conscientious he is. I'd recommend Marty without hesitation to anyone who needs electrical work done. Thanks Marty! read more

Needed electricity in shed. Marty worked hard in the grueling heat to get it done. Always communicated via text, calls and emails. Can't say enough good things about him. I don't often write reviews, but Marty is the best out there. Will always have him back when needed and will always recommend. Had several electricians in the past, all disasters. Not Marty. Great prices as well, no games. read more
