Mike came for the first round to work with our contractor to discuss the needs of the new kitchen, including GFI updates, kitchen island outlets and pendants, new LED recessed overhead lights, and under cabinet lighting and floor heating. They also made recommendations based on new codes coming into play over the next couple of years so that we would be compliant. That kind of attention to detail was most welcome. John, the Master Electrician who came to the house later, easily guided two young apprentices over 2 days of full-on work. John was amazing, listening to my questions, assisting me in last minute decisions, and making certain the customer was happy. John was very insistent in making sure we were happy and pleased with their work. His knowledge and background was priceless while I worked through the list of my wants and needs, he was very patient too, as I asked endless questions. They put in long days and protected our home while working cleanly and efficiently. I had a bucket list of items that I needed help with. I got ridiculous quotes from other electricians, $2200, $2600, $2500. Marty came by, looked at the job and had decided the best course of action what to just do Time and Materials at his hourly rate. It saved him from underestimating/overestimating and I could manage the costs fairly. Items completed: 1. Deck Post light caps: Caseta switch installation. Also diagnosing some incorrect connections (I had made incorrect connections previously). Wiring an incomplete LV wiring run to complete a 'missing' section of lights. 2. Under deck puck lights: 15 Amp box and 2nd Caseta switch installation powering puck lights 3. Troubleshooting Magnitude MLV Transformer (found bad caseta switch and worked with Lutron support to diagnose and get replacement) 4. Installed heat tape on troublesome (ice/snow) roof section I got everything done for roughly $600.00. (I bought all the materials in advance ~$100 worth and did some "brain dead" stuff myself (like running 14/2 UF wire through existing conduit). In any event, I was thrilled with T&M as was he. I believed I saved roughly $1500 by spending an hour or two myself and having Marty come in for the rest. I think I found my new 'go to' electrician in my area. Fair, honest and hard working.

Stopped by on January 7th to see if they had bathroom fan parts. I even copied the part numbers…read morefrom their website to save them time from looking it up. Dan Wilde took down the part numbers i needed and also took a couple pictures of one item he wasn't sure about, and said he would get back to me by phone and send quote via email. Received a quote by email later that afternoon and responded to it when i got home from work. Dan called me Monday morning (Jan. 10th) to confirm order and get credit card info then said he will place order with supplier. I called Dan on January 27th to inquire about my order. He said he would contact warehouse manager and get back to me. He called an hour later and said warehouse manager has not received anything yet, but will contact Dan to contact me as soon as he gets it in. On February 9th I called Dan to inquire about my parts and he called supplier to inquire and they never placed the order. I told Dan if they could get me my parts within 5 days, continue with order, if not cancel my order and i will order off Amazon. Dan called me back a few minutes later and said that the supplier could not meet my demands of 5 days. After a month of waiting for parts, all the hard work repainting the bathroom and now has to be redone as the shower steam ruined the ceiling and walls. Cost me more money trying to do business locally. Ordered my parts from Amazon and had them in 6 days. Lousy way to do business and for now on, no more shopping local!
