I had 4 appointments and waited over an hour each time before they saw me. The treatment itself only lasted 10 minutes. Erin, the technician, never iced down the skin or gave me any warning before she used the laser. It was extremely painful and she just gave me a ball to squeeze rather than icing the skin ahead of time (which I later found out completely numbs the area and makes laser hair removal virtually painless). I asked them to refund my money for the second package (that I had not started). They said they would call me when the check was ready. They never called, so I called them and left them a voice mail that they did not return. I stopped into the store in person and the lady said she was not going to refund it. I made a bit of a scene and the receptionist said I'd have to talk to the office manager who was not there at the time. I left and called later that day when the office manager was in. I waited on hold for 20 minutes for the office manager to answer. She told me she would refund it but I haven't seen anything come through yet. I can't say anything good about the experience. It was painful, I don't see results from the treatments, and the people were rude and difficult to deal with.

Fast forward many years and the sun damage on my face began showing. SUN SPOTS! They have bothered me for the past few years and seemed to be getting worse even though I now slathered on the sun screen. Long story a little longer, recently, I discovered IPL treatments. I found Kathy and went for a consultation. She at the time she offered a discounted first-treatment on IPL so I was ready immediately and she got to work on me. The treatment began with ultrasound gel all over my face and continued with what can only be described as hot rubber band snaps and bright red lights to every inch of the gel mask (Really not unbearable, just very different and annoying). It ended with what felt like a bad sunburn that lasted the next few hours. After a week and a half of coffee ground-looking freckles, the damaged spots have fallen away and the sun spots are gone (after one treatment). Yay! From falling down stairs, car accidents and work mishaps to migraines I've managed to run the gamut of pain induced misery. What I found when I was 21 or 22 was that a chiropractor can do what muscle relaxers and anti inflammatories cannot. They FIX it, no covering symptoms so conditions worsen. I pinched my sciatic nerve at 21 or 22 and went to the doctor barely able to walk. I didn't wanna breathe the pain was so awful. Pills were given to me to relieve my symptoms. They did nothing. Not one medication took the edge off the pain but when my boss called the chiropractor down the block my life changed. She explained that her tech could barely walk and asked if he would have any time to see a new patient. She was speaking to Dr. Reid Ketteler who was closing for lunch within just a few minutes. What the man did was phenomenal. He asked me to come in at 12, ON HIS LUNCH HOUR, so he could help me. He took x-rays and studied them with me, he measured my muscle function and showed me the reason behind the pain and then worked out a treatment plan with me. He made me part of my own care and solution and educated me and you know what? Funnily enough the pain went away. I was able to walk and run and even got back to my volleyball league. So my review goes like this: Dr. Ketteler is a rare gem! He is a kind, caring and compassionate professional that enjoys helping others. His office assistants are sweet, friendly and personable; the treatment offered is top notch. I cannot say enough about just how wonderful this practice is!
