The initial consultation was with Paul Wright November 2015 at which point we paid a $1,500 retainer. After we inquired as to the status of our case, Julian R. Kehler contacted me via e-mail in February 2016 with a list questions to *begin* working on the matter. All of the questions would have been answered had he reviewed the exhaustive packet of documents with research, documentation and chronological correspondence with Chesapeake, so I forwarded the original submission from November. I received a follow-up one month later stating the case was still in process. Three weeks later, a response letter from Chesapeake was forwarded to us. Two weeks later, we got a hopeful message stating the matter would be resolved very soon. Two weeks later, I sent a message to Julian Kehler and CC'd Paul Wright expressing my concern over the initial retainer payment only to have to reach out over two months later after not hearing anything in response. The letter was answered promptly by Paul Wright and we felt comfortable continuing the case. The correspondence came periodically over the next several months with delays of one week to up to a month without hearing anything. We found Mr. Kehler to have lackluster energy and with little interest in follow-up without being prompted. When we hadn't heard anything for over three months, we again reached out to Paul Wright for his assistance. In summary, after being unable to get any traction with the behemoth Chesapeake over a mistake *they* made years prior, we were then unable to get timely responses and any sort of proactivity from the attorney we were paying to help us. The only consistent communication from The Wright Firm was the bills which came like clockwork. Although our initial complaint never changed (full payment from Chesapeake along with attorney fees), Mr. Kehler did not demand the attorney fee reimbursement and would not pursue Chesapeake after their insult-to-injury letter denying reimbursement unless we continued to pay additional fees.

I'm human and understand everyone makes mistakes- however, every draft to be filed had not one but several mistakes, including most importantly the first one being the name of the children were not my children at all, also I was clear I was filing a SAPCR for custody, they drafted a divorce decree. Very negligent red flags I figured were only human, however every draft from there on had multiple discrepancies. During my temporary orders hearing, while I had a very strong case against an absent parent- Mary took it upon herself to mis inform the judge and say the respondent lied on federal reports- which I told her was not false information- she completely killed my case and threw all my strengths out the window.
