Excellent Experience with Attorney Brad Thomas and His Team…read moreI had an excellent experience with Attorney Brad Thomas, Paula Ortiz, and the entire team who helped me with my Social Security Disability claim. My case was denied several times, but I am extremely grateful to Brad Thomas and his staff for never giving up. They stayed on top of my case, kept me informed of every update, and were always available to answer my questions or receive any new information I needed to provide. A special thank-you to Paula Ortiz, who was extremely knowledgeable and did an outstanding job presenting my case. I also want to recognize the excellent support staff -- Sidney, Alex, Annie, and Josh. Their professionalism, dedication, and expertise made a difficult legal process much easier for me. No matter when I called, they were always willing to listen, answer my concerns, and help me understand what was happening with my case. After several attempts and with their continued representation, I finally had my case heard before a judge, and I am very happy and blessed to say that I received a fully favorable decision. I am truly grateful that I found Brad Thomas's Disability office and this wonderful team. They communicated with me throughout the entire legal process and made sure I was never left wondering about the status of my case. I highly recommend Attorney Brad Thomas, Paula Ortiz, and their amazing staff to anyone looking for knowledgeable, dedicated, and compassionate representation for a Social Security Disability claim. Thank you all for your hard work and for believing in my case! Sent from my iPhone

I contacted the firm after receiving an unfavorable Social Security disability decision and was…read morelooking for help with my appeal. Before anyone took the time to hear my entire situation or review my decision, I was told to contact another attorney. The phone experience also felt very impersonal to me and appeared to be handled through an overseas call center rather than directly through the law office. The firm later called me back and told me they do not take mental-health disability cases. That was especially surprising because Brad Thomas has a public Facebook video in which he says, "these are the questions I ask in a hearing for mental health," and then discusses the questions he asks clients. When I pointed this out to the person from the firm, I was told it "must be an old video." What makes that explanation even more confusing to me is that the firm's current website still provides a Mental Residual Functional Capacity Assessment specifically for documenting how mental-health conditions affect a person's ability to work. I completely understand that a law firm has the right to decide which cases it accepts. My issue is the disconnect between the firm's public educational/marketing material and what I was actually told when I called for help. If the firm no longer represents people whose disability claims are based on mental-health conditions, I believe that should be made very clear. When someone has just been denied disability benefits and is trying to figure out an appeal, they deserve to have their situation heard before being quickly passed somewhere else. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this firm.

I am a former client of Curtis Graves Law Office. And I hired him in November 2018 for my SSI…read moredisability denial so I can obtain Medical coverage. Mr. Graves agreed to take my case believing I had a chance to get SSI's decision overturned. Today is July 10, 2019. I have my SSI hearing scheduled for July 12, 2019. Curtis Graves withdrew from my case two days before my hearing stating that my last treating physician did not diagnose me and that there is nothing wrong. Upon my receipt of all legal documents and medical records today, Curtis Graves office received paperwork relating to my case on April 19, 2019. Three months prior to my scheduled court hearing. Upon reading through all documentation there is absolutely no mention of the doctor who diagnosed and was treating me for my disabling disorder. Curtis Graves Office and staff have proven to be incompetent, lazy, and and unchallenged with regard to doing their due diligence and research for their clients. They offer no budget to even have their clients evaluated by medical professionals. Based on their dropping of the ball on my case two days before my court hearing, I am thankful that he will not be representing me. going forward. I am now seeking new legal representation due to Curtis Graves faux pas on my case. I would not recommend him to anyone, And I recommend anyone reading this does not consider him either. They dragged their feet and dropped the ball. Would you really want someone like that representing you for your disability claims?

Wright. My role was as an accountant and being a supportive boyfriend. My expectation walking in the door was going to be a hard sell to use their services. I was wrong, Prior to the meeting, we had completed their questionnaire. In addition, we brought supporting documentation, credit reports, death certificates, anything that may be needed to support the conversation. In addition, and this was critical to the conversation, was the section of the questionnaire asking what we wanted to achieve out of the meeting. Mr. Wright was very pleasant. We had a pre-prepared list of questions. This was the point I was expecting slippery answers and a hard-sell. I was very surprised when I asked specific questions, I received very specific answers. In addition, Mr. Wright offered additional guidance. As the purpose of bankruptcy inquiry was due to the deceased husbands debts rather than the girlfriends debt, I expressed doubts as to whether filing for a bankruptcy was the proper course of action. Mr. Wright's response was he had doubts whether a bankruptcy filing was the best initial action. Rather, he recommended a specific course of action 1) Pay the HOA fees immediately 2) Ensure the house payments are current 3) Contact a probate attorney to sort through the estate issues 4) Review the results and if needed, then come back to him to file for bankruptcy if we felt bankruptcy action was needed. As I said, I expected no answers, no course of action and just a hard sell. I was pleased, I was shocked, I was floored. I mentioned that the advice we received was more than just an initial consultation and offered to pay for his services, twice. He declined the offer for payment, twice. His only request of us was to use him if we needed a bankruptcy attorney and to refer anyone to him that may need his services. I did him one better. I wrote this review. I would highly recommend Mr. Wright for your legal needs, no bullshit, just good, solid, actionable advice. That being said, if you contact Mr. Wright, go there with your house in order, your questions prepared and like with any professional, respect his time. I really felt he was on our side.
