Let me tell you about my coach Jerry. Jerry has by far been the most patient, knowledgeable, detail oriented, professional coach I've ever had. He goes above and beyond what I expect a coach to do and doesn't force you to become something you can't be. I've had times where work interfered with my schedule and he's adjusted his schedule to fit mine. The facility itself is well taken care of. The bays are clean, the faculty is amazing and friendly, there's fresh cold water onsite for you to use, the bathroom is clean and they even make sure that the bays stay working 100% during your practice sessions! If I ever come back to Vegas, I'm definitely coming back here. In total I've had maybe around 15 lessons here and my swing has never been better! From the moment we got there, the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone we interacted with made the experience easy and enjoyable, which really set the tone for the day. The course itself was amazing. It was in great shape, fun to play, and the views were absolutely stunning. There were so many spots where we had to stop for a second just to take it all in. The layout was challenging enough to keep things interesting, but still enjoyable even for someone like me who apparently decided to donate golf balls to the desert all day The price was also great, especially for the quality of the course, the scenery, and the overall experience. It felt like a really good value, and we left already talking about when we could come back. Even though my golf game was questionable at best, the course and the staff made it a fantastic day. I decided to dive in and get clubs. I called and spoke with someone and I feel like mostly they operate under the assumption that you have clubs already etc. I told them I didn't have clubs but would like to get some and get instruction. I still received an email instructing me to bring my clubs. Not a great sign, but alright. Perhaps, because I didn't arrive in goofy golf clothing or wasn't wearing a Rolex, I felt like I was sort of talked down to. When I mentioned I wanted to get clubs I was told I was booked for a lesson and not a fitting. I stated I would like instruction also. I could tell the guy helping me was growing frustrated at my lack of understanding but didn't really tell me why he couldn't evaluate or coach me and then tell me what sort of clubs to get. I decided that golf and it's environment isn't for me. Thanks but no thanks. I have a lot of other hobbies where I'm not made to feel like a jerk for being new.

From Super slicer to consistent and straighter…read more I used to watch YouTube, listen to friendly advice, read books and magazines- to make adjustments to my golf swing. After my Charles Barkley phase, I decided to get real help. Golftec- Brent B has really helped my golf game. My score has improved significantly. More importantly I can visualize my swing and ball flight pattern and then transition it to course play. Don't be afraid of the upfront cost- if you score in the 100s this will be worth it because you'll find the game more enjoyable and you'll lose less balls. There are plenty of benefits to practicing at Golftec, but to be truthfully honest I haven't experienced them all- (club fitting, trying new products, course play etc). I have only focused on the lessons and practice sessions which have provided plenty of value.

I initially did a private lesson with someone, whose name I can't remember, at Coronado Golf Course many years ago and I had a bit of a bad experience. I left feeling more frustrated than I was when I first started because I was unable to hit the ball, even once, after following the techniques that I was taught. I was instructed to keep my arms as close to my body as possible and in doing that, I was unable to swing through because NEWSFLASH! I have rather large breasts blocking that pathway... HELLO!!!! I kept trying to tell the guy but I don't think he could relate, LOL, and surprisingly told me to stay the course with the "keeping my arms close" nonsense. After my first lesson lesson, I became convinced that I would never be able to golf because I have boobs and gave up the sport entirely, chalking it up to be something that was not for me. Fast forward to now, I decided to give it another go. I met with Shane and he broke everything down in a very simplistic way and what d'ya know!? I was able to hit the ball right away. What a difference having a great instructor makes! I would highly recommend hiring Shane for a private lesson. He turned something that was frustrating and seemed impossible to learn, into a sport that I look forward to learning more about. He is a great teacher! Can't wait to take more lessons from him soon and start kicking ass at golf!

Never received those free classes. Cool that's ok. And now when it came down to cancel my membership i canceled 6/17 it's now three months later and I'm still getting charged. I emailed them, I spoke to Tracy and nothing was ever resolved she seemed like she was very apologetic and would resolve the issue but nope. Nothing ever happened. I've had to dispute every single time which is a pain because should I have to keep up with something that I canceled months ago.
