Shwarma Valley is a great option for the family when they don't feel like cooking. There are both healthy and unhealthy-smutty options available. On our more recent visit, I got tabouli, added chicken, baba ganouj, falafel and a few mixed shwarma bowls. I really like the tabouli. My family would prefer it to be more grain forward, but I like a parsley heavy tabouli personally. The baba ganouj was a little salty for my taste, and perhaps a touch too much liquid smoke. I decided to try this place out due to the high star rating and decent reviews. I wish I would've tried a different place. I ordered the chicken shawarma combo. I couldn't even finish my sandwich. It was seasoned horribly. There were giant clumps of seasoning throughout the sandwich. Some bites I took were just bread and seasoning. Barely any garlic sauce and maybe 4 tiny pickle chips. The fries were not appetizing as well. There was little to no seasoning on them and tasted off. I lived in Dearborn for 4 years and would frequently try chicken shawarmas from different restaurants down there. I know what a pretty good/decent chicken shawarma is supposed to taste like and this place did not hit the mark. Cost me nearly $17 for a sandwich, fries, and drink from this place. I could get the same in Dearborn for $12 for a better quality meal I do hope this was a one off event or that something will change but I don't think I'll be going back. read more

It was a busy time right after Christmas & they were busy at 2:30pm on a Sunday so any mistakes made like not leaving pickles off a mixed shawarma or getting extra garlic sauce (tuom) as ordered. The hummus wasn't anything special, not as creamy or as flavorful as Jerusalem Gardens. The chicken shawarma, while flavorful, was very dry. The mixed shawarma was very greasy, leaking thru the paper. For some that's a good thing. For my husband & son, it was not. I was also hoping to find an appetizer of dolmades with lamb, but to no avail. If I didn't have any other choice, I would eat here but keep my expectations low. On my second visit - I order over the phone, and came in to pick up my food. The owner asked if I had a pickup, I said yes. I then asked if he took the call, he said no - the other guy did, but he isn't very good looking. I just had the chicken schwarma plate from this place. I did takeout as the Great American COVID Plague is still ongoing. The order was correct, hot, on time, and delicious! The rice was perfectly spiced and cooked. Loved the flavor on the chicken. There were pickled vegetables added on top of the pilaf added a nice flavor to the whole meal. Just very very good food for not that much cash. One thing to note: the schwarma meal in particular was PLENTY big enough for two. You'll have leftovers. Friendly guys running the place. When my friend and I went in to pick up the food, the guy at the counter was a little intrusive and kept asking us personal questions and just made the encounter a lot more uncomfortable than it had to be. Anyway, we got two orders of the chicken shawarma, a fattoush salad, and a side of hummus. The chicken shawarma was ok tasting but it was extremely greasy. Like so greasy that there was grease mess all over the bag and wrappers. The hummus was not very good either. It was extremely thick in consistency and the flavor was meh. I will say that the fattoush salad was very tasty. After the man at the counter hyped up the food so much by telling us it was the best in town and his Shawarma will be the best I will ever have, I was rather disappointed. read more
