They gave us a sample of the chili and mannnn, if that sandwich didn't stuff me I definitely would've ordered some. My male coworker did not have that problem, haha. I definitely recommend checking them out. The guys who run the truck are super friendly too. Can't wait to fill up this loyalty card!

This is a no frill, classic, mouth-watering, taco truck that I sincerely hope is here to stay. The owner is incredibly nice and even grilled the onions on my Al Pastor taco upon request at no extra cost. Their menu is very straight forward and you can taste the passion in every bite. Will definitely be back for more.... Hell maybe even tomorrow to try out the rest. The Carne Asada, Mixto, and Al Pastor already are better than nearby competitors (and cheaper). Can't wait to try the Lengua, Chorizo, and Pollo. Even though I'm not typically a quesadilla man, willing to give them a shot too! They also give a bag of radishes and cucumbers on the side, like what!?!? And their sauces are a good mix of different spicy-ness to cater to every taste profile. If they start selling a couple different flavored bottles of Jarritos, then it'll be like being transported right back to SoCal.

I drive pass by Navy Federal in Vienna on daily basis so I see all types of food trucks out there which some are not that appealing or even interesting. This food truck offer small selection of comfort, simple Filipino food. I went for Platter #1 which includes: - Pork barbecue skewered, taste exactly like Thai barbecue that I'm familiar with. Tender, flavorful, sweet and salty. - Pancit rice noodles which I thought it might be on the plain side but nope, the noodles had lots of flavor. I added some red chili flakes and it taste even better. - Lumpia, the most divine Filipino snacks, always delicious. Unfortunately, didn't expect to see such micro-sized lumpia, I'm a bit disappointed. Overall, tasty. Everything had lots of flavor similar to Thai food that I love. Price is fine, reasonable for food truck. Portion is somewhat small but then again you can never have enough delicious Asian food. Hope to see this food truck in Vienna again, I'd love to try their Tapsilog next time. Lastly, the girl with a black hat who take orders was very friendly and adorable.

Good chicken (steak/fish) cutlet sandwiches are hard to come by but this place does a great job. The cutlets are crispy and the variety of sandwiches are enough to please the masses. Additionally, they're really cool about letting you mix and match toppings btwn sandwiches. Sandwiches are massive so quantity is not an issue either although it does make for a sloppy sandwich, but no big deal. One small knock is that I thought the bread could have been slightly thicker and fresher. This is probably the only time I complain about the bread and it's only cause there was so much going on in the sandwich. Feeling pretty satisfied after eating from here.

Some of the best food truck eats in the DMV!....And, giving huge serving portions "ain't never hurt…read morenobody!" After pondering over the usual lunch options, I decided go on a food truck excursion for lunch today. On any given day, just outside the office, there's always several food trucks making their rounds in the Arlington-Ballston area. Luckily for me, Over the Rice decided to show up! Over the Rice seems to have a cult following. As soon as they tweet their location for the day, you can bet there is a line of folks waiting to partake in their fare. This I know, because every time they are anywhere near my office building my coworkers run for the doors during lunch like a cow herd. And, I see why! The food is always fresh and the flavor is there. This is my fourth time visiting this truck and I can attest one thing for sure....the food and taste is consistent....actually, really good. You pick your choice of meat(s): Steak, Grilled Chicken, Lamb, Pork and there is a vegetarian option as well. Then, the assembly of a great meal begins. If you are indecisive like me, they offer a combo meat option which is usually my go to....Chicken n' Steak or....when in the mood to change things up....the Chicken n' Lamb! One word...its "HittinNStickin!" The meat is so tender, juicy...and most of all seasoned! It is served over rice (yellow basmati rice), of course and comes with a side salad and two quarter slices of pita bread. The food is more than enough to share...in my opinion. The finisher that makes the food a hit....is the Tzatziki sauce ANNNDDDDDD this spicy kind of sauce I can't seem to put my finger on it! But, whatever it is.....make sure you order extra of both!! lol THE GOOD IN A NUTSHELL: Overall, you can't go wrong with this food truck! Fast friendly service, fresh tasting, flavorful food, good portions, and you don't get a sense of bad food handling practices like some food trucks or feel like you are going to need a pack of Tums to alleviate the bubble-guts...after consuming it. Nothing but a thumbs up experience and clean operation here. THE EIGHT BALL IN THE CORNER POCKET: The long lines are the only down side, but look at it this way...."good things come to those who wait"....besides, if there was no line then that may not be a good sign for sure! lol
