We had the most incredibly demeaning experience at this establishment. We had made reservations…read moreweeks in advance and when we arrived the host (a young man) explained that even though we had a reservation he would seat others ahead of us who had been waiting without one. When we asked why ( we aren't above waiting however had booked the reservation bc we know how busy it gets on a Saturday night). He then told us that it was a family run business and he could throw anyone out of it that he wanted. Then when he was finally showing us to a table told us that we couldn't sit down until we apologized to him. Just to be clear, we had not been disrespectful only had mentioned that we had a reservation. It was supposed to be a fun ladies night out where we introduced one of our friends to the great food we have normally had here however we left and won't be back after the embarrassment and disrespect we felt from the behaviour of this host.

My fiance and I stopped in for a late lunch before we went back to Toronto. Our server was nice and offered just the right amount of service (checking in with us just the right amount). Loved the black tea with cardamom spice that we were offered when we first sat down - so so good! My fiance opted for the beef kefta platter, adding hummus and I got an order of falafel. Our food arrived with a side of delicious housemade bread and hot sauce type dip. Flavours were amazing and the food was super fresh. We couldn't finish the two pizzas between us, so we brought the leftovers home and reheated it two days later. Somehow, the pizza was even better than the day of! We actually ordered an extra Nona Mela to bring home to one of my friends who was on the girls trip a few years ago, as she also has been thinking of this pizza. That's how good it is!
