Yes, I realize now how stupid and naive I was. Back in 2022 a pipe burst in my house and caused a significant amount of damage.  I live in a very rural area and I could not get anyone to come out and give me quotes. My insurance wasn't helpful either. So, I then I got a message from Zack.  I had no idea what a manipulative snake he is. He seemed so nice and willing to help. Even Sent us (my SO and I) to a place to look for replacement counters in a very ghetto place. So, being desperate to have help and being fooled by this sad excuse for a human being, I gave him 15k to start.  We also signed his stupid contract that looking at it now a child with a crayon could have made a better one. He couldn't even decipher a comma with an apostrophe. We were desperate.  Half our house was gone, we were eating fast food (we are diabetic and it ruined our a1cs) the kitchen,  the downstairs bathroom, our use of our washer and dryer. Our house was taken apart and we needed our home back. This guy never started the work. Kept acting like he was doing me a favor and in the end stole my money and ran. Eventually my insurance found someone to fix the house but the damage was done. The 15k was from the insurance to fix my house. I had to get an equity loan on my PAID off house!! I had just bought a car and so I had to get a big loan and my credit is super crappy. So, had to get an over 50k loan to pay my car and the money he stole from me to the other company who actually completed the work. This guy is a liar, thief and he's broke. DO NOT USE THIS SHAM OF A COMPANY. He threatened to sue me for talking to the BBB. And he scared me into taking my review down. He threatened to sue me! Guess what? He never did because he's broke AF. Didn't even pay his insurance.  Otherwise I could have been paid back. This sounds like a story but it's not. It's a nightmare that happened to me and is still happening to me. He threatened to sue me when I sent demand letters. Said I'd have to owe what was on the contract. He knew how to scare me. Took this guy to small claims, he never showed up. I won the judgement but he's broke and is gonna screw me because he can't pay. I can't stress enough not to give your money to this guy.  He's the worst kind of creep there is. I have no idea how there's any kind of good reviews. Have to be fake just like him. I hope he reads this and knows that he's a horrible person. I hope karma does her thing. Taking money like this is shameful. Run! Don't give this criminal any money, you will regret it just like me.

Unfortunately, he did not fulfill what we agreed on. I paid over $12,000, and the work was left incomplete. The units were not rent-ready, debris and trash were left throughout the property, and key items we discussed were never finished. The photos I attached show only part of the condition he left the property in. After receiving payment, Larry stopped responding and ultimately blocked me instead of taking accountability or addressing the issues. As a property owner who relied on clear communication and trust, this was extremely disappointing and costly. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend hiring someone else if you are considering renovating a property. This contractor was unreliable, unresponsive, and did not deliver the agreed-upon work.
