Please use caution. I had them do a $62K James Hardie siding job. They did not know how to install…read moreJames Hardie, which I found out after the siding was all up. None of the work was done per the James Hardie installation manual, including basic waterproofing techniques. No flashing above a single door or window. And I have over 40 windows and doors on my house. Above every window and door you can see the white house wrap under the siding. They couldn't even properly use the touch up paint for nail heads. No field cut edges were pre painted. The caulking beads are beyond horrific. A few of the trim boards were installed with cracks in them. I picked up hundreds of nails and scrap cuts out of my yard because they couldn't even clean up after themselves. Miter cuts in the fascia boards have huge gaps. I asked the salesmen several times to bring the owner, A.M. to my house, he could never find the courage to show up and face the poor workmanship of his crew. When I told the salesman to rip it all down and check my house for water damage, the company turned into a ghost and have not responded. Get ahold of me if you want to see any of the hundreds of pictures I have supporting the above comments.

I cannot warn you enough to stay clear of this place. The owner does not do roofs, he hires outside…read morepeople to complete jobs for which they did my metal roof. Afterwards I found out it was only the second metal roof they did. They misrepresented themselves as experienced. No underpayment/ice shield at all was used. They knowingly used the wrong materials and hand bent all trim edging so it looks warped and bent. Screw holes open everywhere. Cocking holding pieces together. New gutters are hanging and dented with tools left inside them. Water doesn't drain and floods our front door. Within weeks all three floors of the interior of my home had ceiling damage. They refused to produce any insurance, warranty, or receipts. They ran over our outdoor light post at end of our driveway and broke the cement which sliced the wires open and exposed. They refused to have it fixed. The did not answer an attorney we hired. They sent a guy to fix our living room ceiling a year and a half later, once all three ceilings were collapsed in my home. He "floated" a tiny square of drywall that wasn't secured to studs, not taped, and fell less than two weeks later when it rained because our ceilings yet again collapsed. The kid told me he doesn't even do drywall. After almost thirty thousand dollars, tears, we have to come up with more money to sue. When we had companies from out of town come to do several inspections we found out that this is a RECURRING problem they see from this "roofer". The only went messaged us at 4 and n the morning drunk yelling. We feel helpless and our house is ruined with all walls ruined and mold. Hopefully by sharing this, this will prevent someone else from going through this

I…read morecurrently do not live in the valley but my parents still do, I'm 28 hours away (in Austin, TX) and have really been struggling to keep the maintenance up on my parents house from so far away. I was referred to Adam Kahl and his company Kahl Remodeling. First off, Adam seems to do just about anything, he can build a garage, put up fences (which I had him do for my parents) to building handicap ramps (which he is also going to do for us), windows and more. Being 28 hours away and entrusting my elderly parents into someone's care was a concern for me, Adam did an incredible job on the fence, I was beyond impressed. He is fast, trustworthy, more than fair in his pricing and goes above and beyond to do the best. I was so impressed with his service I felt the need to write this review; he is the man to go to for construction in Mercer County. I can't say enough about him and I plan on using him from now on for all of the repairs/remodeling on my parents house. Had to share! good help is hard to find!

Once he got here it took him 6 hours to fix our mess because he had to remove and replace deck boards and everything else in sub zero temperatures. You won't find a more honest contractor, believe me we've been taken by a few before. I highly recommend him!
