Adil and his team at EA Home Repair did an amazing job transforming our sunroom, an extremely small…read morehalf bath and even smaller coat/storage closet into a first floor master bedroom suite that is fully handicapped accessible and beautiful. During a very difficult time for our family, Adil, in a very short time frame, drew up plans and began the work for this project. Throughout the work, Adil was compassionate, reliable, professional, flexible and patient. He communicated effectively throughout the project. He and his team are extremely professional and respectful. The covered the floors where they would walk, covered all our furniture and cleaned up after themselves including mopping the floors every night before eating. In our old Lakewood home, when Adil came upon opportunities to change the plan to enhance the beauty and function of the space, he communicated with me and included my wishes and suggestions wherever possible. He did so while remaining on budget. In the future, when I have any work needing to be done to my home, I will always use Adil and his team at EA home Repair. I cannot say enough or recommend him more highly! Thank you.

The previous contractor had taken months to install flooring in my mother's kitchen, hallway and bathroom. Multiple inspections determined that a simple adjustment and completion of the project wasn't possible. The job was so bad that the entire floor that had been installed had to be ripped up and redone. We needed a redo- and we chose Bob's team. They did not disappoint. Gavin and Tyler were extremely courteous to my mom. They worked fast, showing up early and worked hard through the day. The cleanliness was immaculate and the job was done with care and precision. We couldn't be happier with our new porch--what a transformation! Iron Castle Construction's skill…read moreand professionalism are as impressive as the outcome itself. Owner Ken Schubert worked creatively with us and our design, streamlining materials and construction methods to capture the look we wanted at a price we felt good about. He took extra care in construction, picture-framing the decking, a detail I wish I'd thought to ask for and was overjoyed that he included. From inspiration photo to finished product, Iron Castle turned our lackluster, sagging brick porch into a wide, welcoming, beautiful entry. We're excited to tackle future projects together and recommend Iron Castle to everyone we know.

I honestly feel a bit bad leaving a 3-star review here because everyone I interacted with at Iron…read moreCastle Construction was genuinely kind, respectful, and responsible. On top of that, the quality of their work is fantastic. Among other great things about their work, they did a beautiful job matching the existing wood molding in our home with the new construction they did on our bathroom. Price-wise, they were right in the middle of the road compared to the other estimates I received. Where things fell short for me was communication. I know contractor-client dynamics can be tricky, but as the project progressed, it became increasingly unclear what the actual timeline or next steps were. The project ran longer than the original estimate, and I was never given updated, reliable estimates for completion. (Part of this was due to scheduling inspectors which had nothing to do with Iron Castle, but even factoring in the inspection wait time, the project went beyond the initial estimate.) Toward the end, communication broke down and workers would show up on days without prior notice, even after I explicitly asked to be kept in the loop on scheduling. That was stressful because we had our work to take care of. Big picture: Iron Castle does high-quality, beautiful work, and they are good people. But while I love the finished product, the process of getting there was not what I would have expected.

Partially my fault, the salesman wrote down the wrong color on the contract & I did not catch it. They did offer $500.00 discount or replacement but the negotiation with the manager was difficult. A call to the owner was not returned. Soon learned there is a design flaw in cold weather. Water frequently freezes on the gutters and large icicles form all along the gutters. This is a major problem over a heat pump. I have made three calls to the salesman all of which have gone unreturned. Pluses? Attractive design that might be good in warmer climates. Negatives? Major icicle & ice issues in cold and lack of service follow up -numerous phone calls for help ignored. Dun Rite? Ahh... Nope.
