Now as a Merchant mariner, for over 45 years, I've done this procedure, successfuly, ever since the USCG instituted it. Also, I was an registered EMT and am still a certificated Medical Officer, aboard ships. So I actually perform these type of exams. myself. aboard ships. Thus I was appalled, as I watched them, firstly screw up the DOT papers I gave them, and then proceed to fumble the Chain-of-Custody procedure. Well, sure enough, the Medical Officer called me and advised that there were "irregularitys", in the received samples, meaning the test was rejected. So now I am under suspicion, for their incompetency. If that was not enough, when I submitted the Physical exam papers, again, I was informed by the USCG, that there were "irregularitys" there, too. So now I can't get a USCG Medical Certificate, which is required to sail--I'm out of work, because of their "irregularities". Also, they charged me almost double what I would have payed, had I just gone to Concentra. Well, so much for going back to work!

My son was sick so we made an appointment online. The staff is friendly and easy to check in with. My only issue is that there were 4 people at the desk and only one person handling checkins or customers. The checkin process tends to be the longest part of appointments here even after I did all the paperwork online ahead of time. In their defense I did ask for an appointment after arriving but hey seem to have quite a few staff in the back and yet move very slow. The medical providers are usually a physician assistant or nurse practitioner. If you need to see an MD you may be out of luck. These providers have been able to handle every medical issue we have brought them to date but I am concerned they are not as thorough as they could be especially when as a medical mom of complex medical sons I make suggestions and they blow me off. Obviously they are not equipped to handle emergencies. Plenty of seating in waiting area and the entire facility is handicapped accessible. They do offer X-rays onsite but I am unsure of if they offer any other imaging. Their website has a list of services. Very disappointed that there were so many sick people coming into this facility with FLU/COVID symptoms and NO ONE is wearing masks except my son and I. Not even the staff! Considering it is cold and flu season the staff and any patient coming in with fever and symptoms should HAVE to mask! Fever = Contagious! The providers are very kind and compassionate but we waited 30 minutes past my sons appt time just to get into a room and then had to complete all the screening before we could even see a provider. Frustrated because my son left with a prescription but no strep test or PCR. I was hoping to know what we were dealing with. I left with a culture that is being sent off but no exam, nothing. Sometimes symptoms can actually mean something. I may find another urgent care for comparison. I would like to find someplace where you feel like you are not only be heard but that for the money they are charging you actually get examined and a treatment plan. I am being gracious with 3 stars only because their staff is pleasant to deal with but left me feeling like I wasted my time and my sons time and will end up having to go to our primary physicians office anyhow which defeats the purpose of going to an urgent care with the exception of a same day or next day appointment.

I had so much pain when I walked into this urgent care and thought I'd have to wait a long time, but they were so quick and helpful in getting me checked in and through their doors. When I left, I felt 100% better. The nurses, doctors, and staff here are so knowledgeable, compassionate, and helpful, they gave me the confidence that I'll be OK. Which is more than I can say for the other urgent care centers in the area. The clinic is also very clean, hygienic, well equipped and very inviting. They even have a little play area for the kiddos to keep them occupied while waiting. I highly suggest you visit this for any of your family's urgent healthcare needs!

The MA was 1 condescending and rude but she also walked out of the room and I could hear her talking bad about me and joking with someone about me outside my room. Obviously if I could hear her so could other people, nice HIPPA violation. The ARNP Lindsey comes in very quick and doesnt even speak 2 me barely, just walks in says maybe 10 words then leaves. Neither of these women should be taking care of people.

They take our Medicaid and I always forget my card, they look it up on the Medicaid system so that's helpful! My son gets pretty scared with the doctors office and today the nurse practitioner I think is what it's called was so nice. She blew up a glove like a ballon and gave me son that and a lollipop, in reality my son wasn't really the one even being seen. They're great people, all the staff was amazing.
