This was a terrible experience at Dr. Tamara Browns office. I went to her a while back. She…read moreactually has a nurse practitioner to see people. I don't even know if Dr. Brown ever comes to the office. The nurse practitioner misdiagnosed me. She gave me a medicine that I never needed. She also was prescribing two medicines that have terrible effects together. Those combined medicines cause liver damage. Fortunately, I already knew better than to take them together. All I know is I expected to see a doctor. I did not expect a nurse that would give me a medicine that would cause me a reaction. I did not need medicine, but she gave me medicine with no cause. It takes many months to recover from this medicine if your body doesn't need it. I could have avoided these problems if this was actually a doctors office. I wish I never went. They are not running a medical practice. They are operating a malpractice at this place. In addition, none of the blood pressure cuffs work at their place. They will try to put you on high blood pressure medicine for no reason because all of their cuffs are bad. The cuffs look like they are 60 years old. Do not fall into the trap of taking medicines that they prescribe. Go to a specialist and always get a second opinion first. Taking a medicine needlessly can ruin your life.

Okay I called to make an appointment based on good reviews for the practice. This doctor came to…read morejudgmental conclusions, did not listen to what I needed, and now I'm in urgent care with breathing treatment because she wouldn't take my need for allergy treatment and asthma inhaler seriously. She made the comment that "I had a lot of issues" for someone so young. I have year round allergies and diarrhea when I eat certain foods. Is that really a lot of issues? She gave me a bunch of referrals, no refills on medicines I've been on for a decade and now without, and when they took 2 vials of blood for a genetic testing I approved she decided it was too expensive and apparently told the nurse not to put the test through. I had the nurse call the lab to confirm how much the test would cost and approved it on the spot. But the doctor is too busy talking over you and coming to conclusions about what you look like to give you the treatment you need. Waste of time. Go somewhere else. She practices at 619 Rankin Street btw. It makes you wonder why her address isn't updated on here. The practice had good reviews and now that I look back it's for Dr. Anette Bernard who also practices there.

Her nurses are happy and competent and when they said Dr. Chacko would be right in, she was! I've been to many doctors, specifically this last 2 years, and I've never had such prompt, efficient and competent service. Dr. Chacko was patient and listened as I went over what was going on with me. She treated me accordingly and I'm already feeling better. I'm VERY happy that I found her for my GP!
