When he finally came to the exam room he refused to treat me saying that I needed to see my primary. The ladies in the office told me that he had already seen my scans, he knew he wasn't going see me before he had me wait an hour. When I got upset he told me that everyone that comes to his office has to wait. I was appalled by his lack of respect for me and my time. The only good thing I can say is that he returned my copay after refusing to treat me. BTW: When I saw my primary I was told that I needed to be seen by a vascular specialist. Thankfully they called a specialist they were familiar with and sent my scans over to them. I'm looking forward to taking my business to a vascular specialist that is actually interested in treating patients.

When we arrived everyone was nice enough and he was seen in a timely manner. The doctor was very disorganized and "frazzled". He was back and forth in and out of the room forgetting things. Well since then it's been 2 days and 4 phone calls later to try and get the meds sent to Walgreens for pick up. We've called to request them sent and they say they will and don't. The first issue was the meds weren't on the chart at all. So the tech had to speak to the doctor to even know what to request. I will now have to drive over there and request a script for the meds so I can take them to be filled. And now he's missed 2 days of work and still hasn't been treated.

As a new patient at ENT of Georgia South, my experience with the clinical team was positive;…read morehowever, my interactions with the front office were disappointing. During the initial scheduling process, I was required to repeat my demographic information multiple times because the intake representative appeared to have difficulty collecting the information accurately. Unfortunately, the representative's attitude made what should have been a straightforward process unnecessarily frustrating. My larger concern involved gaining access to the Athena patient portal. As a new patient, timely access to the portal is essential for reviewing records, receiving updates, and communicating efficiently with the care team. When I called for assistance, two front desk staff members stated they could not help. The issue was escalated to a manager, but the manager did not speak with me directly and instead communicated through front desk staff. I was repeatedly instructed to contact the Athena help line, despite explaining that I could not access the portal in the first place. No alternative support options or IT contact information were provided. When I asked to escalate my concerns further, I was told there was no one above the manager available to speak with me. As a healthcare clinician myself, I understand the importance of patient portal access and effective front-office support. Patients should never feel like they are a burden when seeking assistance with basic aspects of their care. The quality of the clinical care is the reason I would consider returning. However, even excellent clinicians can be undermined by a poorly functioning front office. Additional training for intake staff and management would significantly improve the patient experience. Patients deserve to feel heard, supported, and assisted throughout every step of their care journey. I hope this feedback is used as an opportunity for improvement.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Do NOT waste your time with this facility. They will string…read moreyou along for months with their incompetence and disorganization, never delivering actual care beyond prescriptions. If they tell you the allergist will reach out to you to schedule an appointment, weeks will go by with no call. You'll have to call and schedule it yourself. If they tell you they'll request authorization from your insurance for a CT scan, you'll show up for the appointment, and the authorization was never submitted. If they request authorization for a surgery, it will be denied because they never scheduled you for a pre-op appointment. If they say they will file an appeal on your behalf, they will run out the clock (180 days) and never file the appeal, submit a new authorization request, and pretend the appeal never happened. When the authorization is finally approved, they'll schedule you for surgery and then call you the MORNING BEFORE to cancel it, due to the surgery center not accepting your insurance, despite being told that your insurance is accepted and getting a detailed confirmation of exactly how much your surgery will cost. I haven't had a single experience with this office that wasn't unprofessional and disappointing. They don't deserve to be in business. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

This will be my last visit to this location…read more I have a sinus infection. Had them before. Sometimes I get one in the Spring. Know exactly what's going on. Know what the effective treatment has been every time. I haven't been sick long enough with it apparently. As I've had a sinus infection 3 years ago, they asked if I'd seen an ENT. Waste of half a day off work. Had poison ivy. Had it before. Knew exactly what's was going on. Knew when, where and how I got it. When poison ivy starts sprouting, I will come in contact with it because I don't see it. Argued with me as to what it was and didn't want to treat it. I had to demand the effective treatment of steroids and cream. Had an ear ache. Knew what my symptoms were. It was Summer. Had been to the beach. 3 trips to this location for three different incorrect and unsuccessful diagnoses. They went as far as to tell me I had a fungal ear infection and I needed an ENT. Nope. Went to my GP and they removed wax buildup I had pushed deep by accident. Instantly better. Listening to the patient and treating them the first time is all I'm looking for. This location demonstrates they cannot do that. Not steering me to an ENT 5 weeks in the future. I have had multiple visits that resulted in incorrect or unreliable treatment. All the ailments were run of the mill, seasonal situations, with easy, common remedies. This ain't an episode of HOUSE. Edit: they did finally give me a script for antibiotics, so the visit wasn't a whole washout. One star added back.

I don't even know if Dr. Brown ever comes to the office. The nurse practitioner misdiagnosed me. She gave me a medicine that I never needed. She also was prescribing two medicines that have terrible effects together. Those combined medicines cause liver damage. Fortunately, I already knew better than to take them together. All I know is I expected to see a doctor. I did not expect a nurse that would give me a medicine that would cause me a reaction. I did not need medicine, but she gave me medicine with no cause. It takes many months to recover from this medicine if your body doesn't need it. I could have avoided these problems if this was actually a doctors office. I wish I never went. They are not running a medical practice. They are operating a malpractice at this place. In addition, none of the blood pressure cuffs work at their place. They will try to put you on high blood pressure medicine for no reason because all of their cuffs are bad. The cuffs look like they are 60 years old. Do not fall into the trap of taking medicines that they prescribe. Go to a specialist and always get a second opinion first. Taking a medicine needlessly can ruin your life.
