If you are looking for sweet blueberries and non-soggy raspberries, then come to Carload. My mom also buys sweet corn, watermelon, and salad leaves - all fresh and local. This is one of those local gem stores that sells good, fresh produce. As per other reviewers, Carload is small so it can be very bump-and-grind...but the flow of traffic is fast. I would definitely recommend this place for fruits and vegetables, more so than the IGA right at the corner.

Going to shop at Bulk Barn during Covid. We are impressed…read moredelighted and grateful! There was a helper to accompany us through the isles. This helper handled all food. It was all done for us,a big smile from the checking and we were on our way! Now this deserves five stars. We are returning with pleasure TONIGHT!

I thought it was maybe a one-off mistake but when I sniff tested the smoked paprika at this location it was the same thing! Not smoked at all, identical in appearance and smell to the regular paprika. I reported this to the employee who was had absolutely zero interest in what I had to say. Very poor customer service, and I also suspect that Bulk Barn is selling only one kind of paprika and putting it in different bins under different names in the hopes that no one notices or knows the difference.

After six years of patronage, I feel l can safely assume this is the type of employee the owner of Strictly Bulk seeks to hire. And I love it. I love that I can roll in on my way home from a long day at work, stock up on nut butter, dried apricots, coffee beans, and Tofurky slices (yes I know these are not good for me.
