Once again I visited the office and was told there was nothing wrong. Knowing obviously that this was not normal, I went to another eye doctor in Barrie and was told the retina had become detached. He sent me to emergency to see the eye specialist on duty. He confirmed my retina had become detached but it was no longer an emergency as it had now gone too far and too long. Had either of the two doctors that I had seen in this office been able to detect a detached retina or offered to refer me to someone who was able, I am told that I would have had a good chance of retaining my 20 20 vision in that eye. After three surgeries, I am left with very poor vision in my left eye. Very disappointed in this office.

I am still in the healing process, but I look forward to very positive results. While I am sure that there are other areas that could potentially be addressed with other surgery as I am in my late 50's, the clinic focused only on what I came in to address, and I appreciated that other procedures were not suggested. I appreciated the care and attention to any concerns both pre and post-surgery, as well as the efficient way the office is run. My time was respected and I was seen for all appointments on time. As a busy person with a full time job, this was important to me.
