I called Ignitify to schedule an "inspection PLUS fix" appointment because my HVAC broke down. I…read morepaid a $95 diagnostic fee, which was supposed to be waived if I proceeded with the repair. The technician, Omar, arrived and identified that the Freon levels were too high, causing the system to short-cycle and shut off. He turned off the compressor and then simply left the property, leaving my entire household stranded in the blistering El Paso heat. When I called customer support to find out why he abandoned the job, I was told he didn't even have the proper equipment on him. They expected me to schedule a follow-up service call DAYS later whenever their schedule opened up. To make matters worse, they sent me an invoice with an estimate of $525 just to remove the extra Freon. I called several other local companies and researched the standard rates - no reputable place charges more than $150 for this. This is a massive price-gouge. Now I am stuck paying a $95 diagnostic fee for a service that left my family in a dangerously hot house with zero resolution. This company takes advantage of people when they are vulnerable and desperate for AC. Avoid Ignitify at all costs and find a contractor that actually has the tools to do their job and charges honest prices.

Mr. Moreno did an excellent job of installing a new disposal in an unusually tight space under the kitchen sink. The cost was quite reasonable. I am SO glad I found MJB Services. I live 800 miles away from my house in El Paso, and am always on…read morethe edge of panic when something goes wrong and I can't be there in person to take care of it. In this case, my water heater started leaking, and was getting worse by the day. It needed to be replaced asap, before it emptied the entire desert of its water supply into my house. By terrible coincidence, my handyman was on vacation, so I found someone else to replace it. Then, shortly before he was scheduled to replace the water heater, that person suddenly turned on me and became very nasty. As a result, I had to look for yet another person to do the job. So I went on Yelp and messaged a bunch of companies. And after hearing back from some, and being ignored by many others, MJB Services was the obvious stand-out for many reasons. 1. Isaac responded to my request immediately. 2. He was extremely friendly and easy to communicate with. It was like talking to a buddy, and that's always a huge plus for me. 3. His pricing was the best I found. 4. He came exactly when he said he would, did everything that needed to be done, and sent me pictures when he was done, which was greatly appreciated. I am very happy with MJB Services, and would hire them to do anything on my property that needs to be done. (They can pretty much to it all.) And once again: Thank you, Isaac. You were great.

They made an appointment which they kept, the actual owner came out promptly, assessed my situation and listened to what I wanted to accomplish and proposed a solution. The next week they arrived and installed the mini-split solution they suggested, complete with the electrical adaptation, exactly according to the specifications agreed upon. This was a few months ago, and now that I have a foster dog in a crate in that same garage, it occurred to me that the confidence we have in letting her stay there when we are gone, is because of the quality of the installation and how well everything works. I'm really grateful for the very professional demeanor and quality service that was provided, really enjoy being able do things in that space without overheating, and I highly recommend this company for their professionalism and quality of service, especially if you need someone to make and assessment and present you with solutions for your unique situation.

I had to call them multiple times then the receptionist hit up the technician, only to tell me that the tech would be another hour and some change to get to my home, this was after I already waited for an hour and a half. Seems like a glorified lemonade stand to me, they obviously don't track the technicians if they did I would have received some notification that my day would be wasted, book with them if you have a spare day or two to wait around. There are plenty other better contractors to hit up, in my opinion so back to the search for a company that respects my time. A little helpful business advice the techs set a timer and when they bust that time they relay that to the office, which in turn triggers a call to scheduled customers that you will be waiting additional hours, and when this happens you say sorry for the inconvenience how about we make it up to you. RESCHEDULING IS NOT A CONSTELLATION PRIZE. How about you knock 10% off of the bill since I lost wages today but nothing so buyer beware.
