Our AC unit was leaking lots of water. I called in First American Home Warranty. They scheduled with Diaz Services. Diaz came out, and looked at the unit for 3 minutes. I was standing right there, and timed it. The technician said the warranty would not cover the service. The fee is always $75.00. He went on to tell me that if he wanted me to fix it they could easily be do it, BUT it would cost 75.00 plus $250.00. I called a competitor, explaining to him what was happening, and he told me that that was RIDICULOUS! I agreed. At that point, I had no choice but to give him the $75.00 for absolutely nothing! I asked him to leave my house. Talk about milking it! The technician failed to access the problem properly, and he knew very well that in El Paso with our hell-hot temperatures, we are hostages! We have no choice but to pay! Well, too bad! I was not going to pay it! I made an appointment with another company, and I know it is not going to cost that much! I do not recommend this business whatsoever! UPDATE: We hired a REPUTABLE company to determine what's wrong with the AC unit. Contrary to what Diaz is claiming, they were able to conclusively diagnose the problem without requiring us to pay the exorbitant amount for a "thorough cleaning" that Diaz kept demanding. The unit will need parts replaced, as it is very old, but it was not necessary to pay a large amount of money for "cleaning" in order to find that out, like Diaz was demanding. EL PASO TEXAS - I Would Absolutely recommend Diaz Services for your Air Conditioning needs. I needed to replace my Mini Split AC. So, I started off my search to find someone who would just install. Like a lot of people in El Paso, I wanted to take advantage of the availability of mini splits through liquidation sources. After I found my brand new in the box unit, I wanted to find a reputable installer. After searching a few of the top corporate services in El Paso, I found a privately owned one that boldly advertised just installation alone for mini splits. I checked some of the local reviews and I decided on Diaz Services. When I called them, they were nice but they were also "to the point" and knowledgeable about the service. They set up an appt fairly quickly for someone to come by and assess and give an estimate. This step was where I knew I was getting a Great Service because I see the integrity of the technicians. Once this was done the appt for the install was set up. They showed up and immediately started what was planned for. It took them a couple of hours and Wa-La it was done. But the key here is that sometimes there are small fine-tuning issues that come up and Diaz Services returned to fully complete the install until all of the kinks were dealt with and without charging extra. I would imagine that most installations of these units are fairly simple when everything lines up perfectly, but when a snag is encountered Diaz Services has the resources and know-how to get it done to full completion. I called several companies and this company was only one who had availability. I should have guessed why. Courteous lady but doesn't listen. I have tenants whose heater went out and two of three are super elderly. When I called in Monday they were able to get someone out on Tuesday between 8-12. No one called me when they were done. My tenants son had to message her to let me know they had left. So, I call and ask if they had finished and she said oh they are barely leaving...which was an hour earlier. But hmm ok. She said they need my email address so they can send quote. I told her I don't use my email address to please call me or I can hold to find out. Well guess what? No call and I wake up today to see an email was sent. I was just on hold 10 minutes and then it says missed called please leave a message. I call back and now they answer. She said yesterday the part was available. She has to call and see if it's available today. She can send guy out today if it is. Let's pray it is in stock today as it was yesterday. This the three star review. Had they actually called me every one would be happy today. This would also have been a five star review post. I highly recommend Diaz AC &heating. I live in Florida and my elderly mother and special needs brother live in El Paso and Mr Diaz sent a crew within 2 hrs to my mother's home to place a new A&C when hers stopped working in the middle of summer. The workers were not only professional but they took the time to engage with my brother and explained everything to my mother. They were patient, caring, and super clean. Diaz performed a bathroom remodel and the shower tile job was terrible! Grout color was bad, tile uneven, shower drain poorly done, shower fixtures not per specified. This work took forever and what's worse, the person who lives in the house works for Diaz Services and said nothing about the quality of the work. Terrible workmanship! read more

I called Diaz Services in El Paso Texas to have my HVAC System inspected and serviced for the Spring and Summer Season. Diaz Services Scheduled me on the day that I requested. The Technician arrived at the time they scheduled me with and he proceeded to inspect my system. He detected a couple of items that could be a problem during the days of heavy usage and took photos of them. I told him fix it and he did. He continued to do the servicing and found everything else was OK. I've called Diaz Services before and always got an excellent response. I have total confidence in this Company. My evaporative cooler needed to be replaced and I received 4 or 5 different quotes for the job. Diaz services was able to give me a very competitive quote for the work and was able to work with some additional requests. They installed a mini split and converted the evaporative cooler to a new refrigerated air unit. They took extra care and had covid protocols in place. They made sure I understood the entire process as well as financing. Although it was a stressful situation, Mr. Diaz is incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient. I have used Diaz Services for the last 3 season cycles. They have prepared my house for summer and for winter and they have been very good. I just had my house converted from summer to winter and Garry was my technician and he was THE BEST yet!! He was very thorough and when I asked questions he was able to answer them and that gave me an assurance that all is well. He checked my filters, checked for any gas leaks. I was very nervous to call these guys, they only had one one review. I called them and they came very quickly. They had originally quoted me $500 only if that was the worst case scenario, and best case would've been $150. It was very hard to get a hold of the owner and not one of the employees could tell me what the actual cost was going to be. I however did learn my lesson, I told them exactly what was wrong with my system but I asked them to come based on what I told them, instead of paying 80 dollars for them to come out and look. Talking to him he said he quoted me worst-case scenario 900, I specifically remember him saying that was only if both coils were taken out, which they were. It took me a week and a half to get ahold of him, and even then he insinuated that I was lying there is no way he would say 500. I asked several times why the price was so high when my coils were not removed and he would not answer me. I have learned a lesson, I will not be calling these guys again. read more
