The technician, Omar, arrived and identified that the Freon levels were too high, causing the system to short-cycle and shut off. He turned off the compressor and then simply left the property, leaving my entire household stranded in the blistering El Paso heat. When I called customer support to find out why he abandoned the job, I was told he didn't even have the proper equipment on him. They expected me to schedule a follow-up service call DAYS later whenever their schedule opened up. To make matters worse, they sent me an invoice with an estimate of $525 just to remove the extra Freon. I called several other local companies and researched the standard rates - no reputable place charges more than $150 for this. This is a massive price-gouge. Now I am stuck paying a $95 diagnostic fee for a service that left my family in a dangerously hot house with zero resolution. This company takes advantage of people when they are vulnerable and desperate for AC. Avoid Ignitify at all costs and find a contractor that actually has the tools to do their job and charges honest prices.
