I don't have a Honda Car but I purchased a brand that I would not let the dealer in Topeka touch it. I take by new car to Honda and Robbie the first guy I met there, took really good care of me. They handle all by Oil, Filter, nitrogen, and non warranty work. And after my warranty expires I will discuss with the store how they can take care of my car. These guys are awesome. The Sales side treats me with respect as though I purchased my car there. I cannot say enough good about Sharp Honda. I even put one of their License Tag holders on my car....wait, they even put that on for me. Sharp is a great way to describe the facility. read more

I am very wary of repair shops, but had a really good experience here after not having the greatest experience at other Honda dealerships. I worked with Robby and Scott who were communicative, accommodating and I felt like they really took the time to actually talk to me about my car. My repair was expensive- and I am hoping the problem is fixed (I'll know after a few days/weeks), but I would say that overall, the customer service was exceptional. Despite this place being an hour away, I think this is where I will be servicing my car for the time being. My in laws and partner have also bought cars here and worked with Tom. He was not pushy or slimy AT ALL and did not seem like a typical sales person. It also seems like the employees stick around for 10 plus years which also says something. So for now, this is where I will be going to get my car fixed and will probably buy my next car from them when the time comes. It was certainly a costly repair, but as of now, I feel confident I gave my business to the right shop. read more

I actually drove down from Kansas City to make a new purchase here after my car got totaled out. They were so sweet and met me at Enterprise where I could return my rental car insurance was paying for from the wreck and helped drive me to the dealership to sort out paperwork for the new car. There was an unexpected gap before the new car was ready and they graciously allowed me to drive their loaner home until they had the car ready for me. As a single mom with no family after a horrible unexpected wreck that was sooo nice!!! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new Honda. From the salesman to the finance guy everyone was so friendly, welcoming and made a bad, unexpected situation feel so much better. read more

The service department continues to be dishonest and takes advantage of women. This has happened numerous times to us, and we no longer trust the service department and will never use those services. Unfortunately, my wife bought a new CRV in 2017 she took it in for a tire that kept going flat. She was told that a nail puncture was unreparable and the tire needed replacing. Further, even though the car has only 14,000 miles on it, they stated "tires beyond usable life." I called BS and we took the car to Performance Tire. Guess what? The nail puncture was repairable and the tread was measured as only 1/2 worn. Once again, the service department has been dishonest, and flat out lied. They tried to scam my wife into unneeded repairs. It was a damn good thing I put a stop to this continual scamming of customers. Enough. Now neither one of us will ever use their services again. We are damn angry. The crooks in the Service Department have been doing this for years and its time others know about it. read more

UPDATE: After leaving a negative review, Sharp Honda reached out "wanting to fix it", but saying their hands were tied on repairing it under warranty since I wasn't on record saying the problem persisted. After the technician told me it was normal, I didn't find it necessary to repeat the issue, so of course it wasn't on record. American Honda declined to offer any assistance after nearly three weeks of review. Sharp Honda reiterated a desire to fix the issue, so I asked what that meant to them. The ultimate offer made was to charge us only for the transmission fluid, but not the labor charges. We had an alignment done at the same time, and they comped it as well, bringing our total to around $20-30 more than we would have paid for just the alignment originally. The technician called multiple times to tell me in exchange for doing this, they wanted the negative review gone. In the interest of transparency, I agreed to update my review when it was handled. I believe reviews to be a powerful consumer tool, and simply deleting my experience would erase important data for other consumers to consider when making choices on vehicles and dealerships they want to patronize. I picked up my vehicle about a week ago now, and wanted to be sure the issue had been fixed before finalizing this review. As far as I can tell, the transmission flush, fluid change, and software update has finally fixed the judder in my Odyssey that has been occurring since 2019. Original review: Sharp Honda told me that if I spent $3500 fixing my Odyssey engine, it would run for another 100K miles. everything else looked pristine, they said. So I spent the money. The transmission died 200 miles later. Yes, 200. Their response? "Sorry, nothing we can do." Stupidly, I bought another Odyssey from them. I complained in 2019 that it shudders between 20-40 mph. "That's normal," they said, "It's just finding the gear." I took it in for service in August 2022 and now they tell me the shudder ISN'T normal, but the fix is $400 because the extended warranty for this known issue expired at 80,000 miles and mine is now at 100,000. In 2019, it only had 54,000 and would have been covered. They refuse to cover the cost even though it is their error and their techs missed the bulletin. I always use certified Honda delegation dealerships for this very reason. Sharp Honda recommended that I take it up with corporate, which has been a three week long exercise in banging my head against a wall. Never again. Sharp Honda does not stand behind their work and they don't make it right when they make mistakes. Save yourself some time and find a different dealership. Buyer beware! read more

The service advisors are always very helpful and friendly and I know they won't jip me or try to sell me anything I don't need. Bad service that sneaked up on me 6 months later... Long story short, I had an oil change service done by this dealership. The next time I had to get my oil change, I had to go to a different dealership because I had moved out of state. The mechanic at the new dealership, said that whoever worked on my last oil change, torqued the cover of my oil pan too much, stripping the groves/treads away. Mind you, my car was less than a year old and that Sharp Honda did its FIRST oil change. This deterioration could have been fixed under warranty if it was standard wear-and-tear, which could have been seen in cars that are like 10 years old, but I didn't have that option because it was man-made! Anyway, the new dealership tried contacting the Sharp Honda, stating that it was their fault and that they should replace the part that they broke. That part was the whole oil pan, costing $200+, which they would have had to order because, rarely anyone needs to replace such a new item. So, without a new part, oil would just spill out. Sharp Honda denied that they made a mistake. They claimed that it was someone else... REALLY??? Who else??? Mileage used and percent of oil checked out. Why would I or anyone have a need to go under the hood and fiddle around with the oil and tighten the cap to its breaking point. Seriously, DO NOT GO HERE. read more

After an oil change my turn signals all of a sudden didn't work properly. I contacted them from out of state to address the issue and they showed no concern and made no offer to pay to have it checked out while I was out of town. Several oil changes prior to this I noticed my windows seemed loose when closing the doors. It seems that accidents happen too frequently at this place and amends are not made. Also, my tires were NOT inflated properly which is supposedly included in their comprehensive check-up that comes with every oil change and was shown to have been completed on my receipt. read more

I'm honestly surprised at all of the bad remarks about this dealership. I bought my car from them, brand new in 2014. I've had all of my service work done with them, except for tires. I will admit, during the car buying process they were a little pushy (which is the experience I've had everywhere else), but they were also willing to help with whatever I needed. At the end, I got a great car at a decent price and good financing. To the service department - I've never had any bad experiences with them. Their prices seem to be comparable to other dealerships. Two months after purchasing a new Honda Fit, the top rated entry level hatchback available on the market today; I realized, although the best choice in a practical and affordable sense, what I really desired was an Accord Hybrid. If not for the expertise and concern shown by the Dale Sharp Honda Team, I would not have been able to correct the original choice, in such a short timespan, to what I really wanted in the first place. My advice is this: let the folks at Sharp Honda know what your wants and needs are openly and honestly. Their no pressure approach, caring listening ear, and genuine interest, will help identify what vehicle you're truly after the first time. Simply put: you can trust them!!! I had been looking for a particular used car for awhile. A BMW X1. The guys at sharp honda happened to pick one up a few weeks back as a trade in. I noticed that it was available and left a message Sunday morning that I was interested. Tom Gettler called me back within the hour and went out of his way to ensure I was able to get the car I wanted at the advertised (amazing) price. I had previously gotten a handshake agreement to buy an x1 from my local dealership in Oklahoma. They took back their offer after finding a customer later that same day willing to undercut me. Super shady. Then I call sharp honda and they not only had a car with a better price, but they held the car for me for two weeks so I could make travel arrangements to get there. All while several customers came and asked for that car. They held up to their word and that means a great deal to me. I'm very happy with my purchase and grateful for their excellent customer service. 5/5 would buy from them. Even if I have to fly 300 miles and drive home again. Oh and to top it all off, they undercut my own bank to finance the car 1% less for the loan. Seriously, could not be happier. read more

My daughter purchased a used vehicle that supposedly had a multi inspection performed. We found there were leaks under the carriage when we took it in for an oil change just a few weeks later. The mechanic told us the leak had been there a while. We also learned there were engine problems that were existent prior to our purchase. This was discovered when we found an estimate for repairs in the glove box. When we confronted Dale Sharp Honda, they did everything but squirm about it. Estimates to fix all of these repairs are around $2100. So, with that, we will never step foot in Dale Sharp Honda ever again. AAA towed me here, after waiting a few hours for them to open, they took care of me first thing--for FREE! granted they just needed to put some clips on the shroud to make sure it simply stayed in place but they were helpful and wonderful! read more

I recently purchased a used Honda from Sharp Honda. During the test drive the car was sold to me as a "Sharp Honda Pre-Owned Certified". I find this to be misleading as I was under the impression that Honda was somehow involved in this certification. In fact, Honda has nothing to do with it, they just happen to be located next to a Honda dealership. You get no warranty at all with "Sharp Honda Pre-Owned Certification". Honda makes no guarantees on the certification process. The car had numerous problem I noticed after buying it. All of these were missed during the "Sharp Honda Pre-Owned Certification Inspection". The salesman told me to bring it in and they would take care of it. None of the problems were taken care of: the engine will not heat up properly (the temperature gauge only goes 1/4 way up instead of 1/2). Their response was that this is normal. The heated seats do not work, and the sales man is trying to convince me that they are just taking a while to warm up. To their credit they did fix one of the dome lights. I had high hopes when the sales man told me they would "not leave me hanging" and fix all of the issues the car had from day one, but they failed to meet even my lowest expectations. Buy with caution - purchased a Certified Used S2000 which turned out to have had prior frame damage and they were impossible to work with. They then turned around and did the same thing to another person with the same vehicle. Go elsewhere and work with people who will actually stand behind the products they sell. Dale Sharp sold me a Honda S2000 that they claimed was certified! Yes I paid more for the certification and the car is worth NOTHING. Well I looked up the carfax that Dale Sharp was supposed to give me and there was the accident. The accident dated a year before I bought the car. I called Dale Sharp and they refused to tell me the truth and stated they dont use Carfax. My first experience at Sharp Honda was incredible. I had been made aware that the exact vehicle I was looking to purchase was on their lot (hard to find make and model). While walking through the lot, I wasn't hunted down or even watched. When I was ready to speak to someone I was able to enter the store-front and ask for assistance. This itself was very relaxing. Colton S. was the salesman that worked with me. He was very kind, and wanted to hear what I was looking for and what mattered to me. I did not receive the pushy "sell you a car right now" treatment you tend to get from dealerships. He made sure to build up a positive relationship with me and stuck with me through the entire sales process. While waiting for the finance officer, Colton sat in the waiting room with me and kept me entertained with conversation versus heading out to find another sale. The dealership price-matched another offer I had received and gave me the price I asked for my trade-in with no questions. They did not try to talk me down. They respected the hardwork I had put in to negotiate the price I was willing to pay for the car. They also kept everything open and on the table upfront. I was made aware of all the costs and where they were coming from on the invoice. Never once did I find something I wasn't made aware of from the very beginning. Four things that stood out to me: 1. The dealership has an open environment. You can see everyone and everything. There is no hiding having conversations employee to employee. 2. There is comradery between the fellow salesmen and entire staff. They all checked on each other and were interested in each other's success. 3. I was a woman, alone, there to buy a car. I never once was talked-down to or made to feel like I was in a man's world. I felt trusted and I was valued. 4. The most important thing: The sales manager came out and directly talked to me. He didn't stay hidden away in an office like the banker on "Deal or No Deal." The deal was closed within 20-30 minutes and I was in awe that after 4 weeks of shopping and dealing with stressful negotiating, I was driving home in my dream car stress free. I wish I had went to Sharp Honda first. I traveled from out of town because my own local Honda dealer fell below the standards I believe are necessary for any business to operate. Everyone at the dealership from Steve Matukewicz on down has been a pleasure to deal with on each interaction. The staff is friendly and courteous and very professional and they go out of their way to make sure the customers feel appreciated. Be very careful of the service department. Unless you like to have unnecessary repairs pushed on your spouse. Had a timing belt replaced at 88,000 and twice since then Robert has used fear and hard sales tactics to recommend--you guessed it, another timing belt. These do need replaced every 100,000 miles, but not 40,000. I now question ALL recommendations and will likely never purchase another vehicle from Sharp Honda because of this practice. read more

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation on my Honda. I was told by the dealership that I also needed to replace my air filter. I opted to do this by myself when they wanted to charge $115 for the replacement filter when it is a 30 second fix and the two filters are less than $20 at Auto Zone. There was a multi-point inspection completed and I knew going into the dealership that my wiper blades needed replaced because they were all bad. After the "inspection" I was told my wipers were good and the air filters were also good. None of this was true and I question the fact that an inspection was actually completed. I can tell by the spilt oil on the top of my engine that something was at least done. After buying two new vehicles from this dealership I expected better than this. read more

Bought a vehicle that the salesman spoke so highly of. Fill it up with fuel and the gauge doesn't work. They told me to go away. They will do anything and it won't bother them. Worst car dealer ever. I am a mechanic so he tells me "why don't you fix it?" For one he never disclosed the problem and why should I fix something that they should be fixing. Terrible customer service from the "service" department. I have Honda Care and I still can't recommend the Sharp Honda Service Team. I made an appointment dropped my car off around 8am. 1pm rolls around I hear nothing back, I call them and they figured out the problem and were working on fixing it. Around 4pm I get a call saying the issue is fixed but something happened and the ABS sensor broke! So now my car has something broken in it I didn't break! Better yet they can't fix it till two days later. All of that was fine I understood and brought the car back. Again early around 8pm, I was told it wouldn't take long the prior day so figured no problem take just the morning off. I brought the car by and here I sit in the waiting room courtesy shuttle gone for an hour plus and no offer of a loaner car seeing as you know they broke my car. So much for the 2014 presidents award winner whatever that is, can not recommend anyone ever come here. Stay away even with honda care this isn't worth it... read more
