My prior CPA tried to negotiate with the IRS but unfortunately was unsuccessful. The IRS had sent a final Intent to Levy Notice and was just about to enforce its collections on a $70,000 tax bill, which we could no longer afford to pay. It was very concerning. We started looking for help and were referred to James Cha CPA with Ace Plus Tax Resolution. James was able to suspend collection actions before they began, saving us money while they helped us prepare to submit an Offer in Compromise. Although this was really a complicated process with lots of moving parts, since the beginning, I've been very impressed with James's professionalism and due diligence system. He helped organize our finances, communicate an accurate view of our hardship to the IRS, and helped us create better habits for our business accounting in order to remain in good standing. Through his exhaustive strategies and negotiations with the Offer Examiner, James helped us along this stressful time. And amazingly, he was able to get our tax debt settled with the IRS for only $180! This was a huge accomplishment and victory over the IRS that I never expected. Even with the professional fees paid to Ace Plus, the savings are huge - and a huge weight off our shoulders. The best Return on Investment I've ever made in my whole life. We are truly grateful to James and his team for helping us to this victory!

Finally, 2026 I spend 30 minutes with Karen Sibley on the phone and am told their services won't work for me. I contacted the company's owner and requested a refund, and was told by Paul Sibley he would follow-up with me the following Monday. This was in March. I have sent repeated emails, and made calls, all to be unanswered. I am now reporting them to the BBB, IRS, US Treasury Inspector General, and California State Attorney General. Maybe $5500 is chump change for them, but it isn't for me. The fact it even took them that long to tell me they couldn't help me is actually ridiculous

Every time the phone rang or there was a knock at the door, I thought it was somebody with a court summons, or worse. Then I found Don and his team. They Immediately spent some time on the phone with me evaluating my situation and assuring me that I wasn't going to jail. I just needed somebody that knew what they were doing to get me headed down the right path. All I had to do was send them a few documents and sign a few things. Before I knew it, they had processed all those years of missed filings, had me set up on a deferment with the IRS and a reasonable payment plan for my home state. And, speaking of payments, their pricing didn't scare me. They have always made sure that not only did I know what was going on at any given time, but that I understood what it was we were doing and why. I've always gotten my questions answered in a timely manner and they are always so kind and understanding. If you have tax issues, they are a guaranteed place to get a little peace of mind. I've been with GT Tax & Accounting for two years now as both an individual and business client…read more This review is highly personal and long (hence me leaving my name at just initials), but maybe one that will help another person like me. The short of it is that Grigor and his team have been nothing but professional and responsive in all the work I have needed to get done with them, but if you want the long version, keep reading. For me, dealing with paperwork of any kind is like being put through a meat grinder with the sort of anxiety that makes functioning difficult. I come from a background of poor working class family and a great deal of immigrant trauma, dealing with bureaucratic nightmares a child isn't actually equipped to handle because I was the oldest and fluent in English; some of that has given me PTSD and even OCD. Having no money myself and riddled with the aforementioned issues, I suffered greatly through the process of starting a business. With zero connections of my own, I was trying hard to find a tax professional and accountant who would be able to advise me and provide a wide range of services as I scale up the business; in the process, I found a lot of dead ends, and as ridiculous and soapy as it sounds, I even have been openly laughed at by a few lawyers and accountants who felt I was wasting their time as someone with little $ value - these people went as far as to give me bad advice, saying I should just do everything under the table since I can't possibly pay for their time. Grigor was the first dependable, responsive, and professional accountant I came across in that journey, and I'm very grateful to him and the one lawyer who took me seriously and referred me to him. Even though my startup situation and business idea are ones that people don't take seriously, he treated me as any client should be treated. Whenever I had questions, he made sure to answer as quickly as he could, especially outside of busy seasons. He's given me advice and reassurance along the way, too, when I hear so many nightmarish stories from elders and others about how they get nickel and dimed for simply asking a question about services rendered or compliance. Initially, I braced for being brushed off after paying or having my tax filings de-prioritized due to me being a client with probably the lowest $ value, and this never happened. The filings have always been prompt, just as the communications have been. While life has not gotten easier for me and I have had to table my business for the time being, I know that if I give it another shot, I would go through his firm again, and I will remain an individual client all throughout. It's hard to dodge scummy professionals out there - the people who have landed on Grigor and his team's doorstep should consider themselves fortunate. From the bottom of my heart, thank you, Grigor, for treating me with the dignity and respect all of us deserve.
