Very knowledgeable tax preparers. Super professional. They take time to answer any questions. Makes tax time a breeze.

Ed Mofrad, and his entire team, have been MORE than what I could ever ask for in a group of tax accountants. Not only are they highly knowledgeable in what they're doing, but each one has been more than accommodating to me in answering my questions, responding almost immediately every single time, and making sure I receive the best service possible with the most clarity they can give to me. A quick story: I was referred to them about three years ago and was actually dreading to make this call, because not only was I behind on filing my taxes for the last three years, but I had no idea HOW MUCH I would be owing and felt like I was digging myself a bigger and bigger hole that I wasn't too sure how to get out of. One of the very first things I remember when I actually made this dreaded phone call to Ed Mofrad's company was speaking with Ed Mofrad himself who reassured me that, 'this happens all the time, please don't worry, I used to work for the IRS, and everything will be okay.' It wasn't his words that were reassuring to me as much as his tone of voice that soothed my heart and made me feel like no matter what this process was going to be like to get me back on track, he, and his team, were going to be kind. This was a big deal to me, for some reason, and he was already providing it (kindness). With that being said, Ed Mofrad, and his entire team have completely caught me up to this present year which is 2022 and are still answering my questions immediately and clearly, getting on a virtual call if I need it, and making sure I feel comfortable and educated every single step of the way. Ed Mofrad and his entire team have truly become people who have a dear place in my heart believe it or not, and it all started with just being my tax accountants. They have been wonderful to me. read more

Stay away from this shark. One star is way too much credit for this business. Extremely expensive and rude. I was charge $450.00 to change a date on a document that they prepared and had already charged me $500.00 for a Real Estate transaction. I received and email from this company demanding I remove this review and saying I was unprofessional for writing a 1 start review and they're were disappointed. I honestly think you and your team need to sit down and evaluate your business. You need to be courteous, helpful and assist your clients with their needs I can understand a service charge but charging $450 for changing a date??? and your reply to my agent that even if you change a period on the document you still charge $450.00. Not good business practices. I can post screen shots if necessary. Take this review as constructive criticism. By the way your $450.00 was paid if not you wouldn't release the report with the change of date on it. Hope it didn't take exhausting hours of work to change the date. read more

if there was a 0 star I would give them that. These thieves took money from me and never gave me the letter I requested. Why because they made me sign a letter that said non-refundable charges. That is even after I had specifically told them what I requested in a letter and was told that he will give me that letter with whatever I had requested but now won't refund. No services provided and no refund given. They took money without providing any service so before you sign anything make your own document that will state what you requesting because your proof of emails or any conversation will not be valued because they made you sign and you didn't make them sign. Dirty games and disgusting people. stay far away, you will be throwing your money into trash by working with them. read more

We needed a CPA who we can trust and someone that was verifiable across all systems. Ed Mofrad has all the credentials we were looking for and this will be the second year we file taxes with him. His office team is bright and ambitious, especially Milton. Milton has been of great help and very quick to respond. He has filed documents on our behalf giving us the results we are looking for. We are grateful for their dedication and loyalty to us. We really feel like they have our back. Thank you! read more

I can't say enough GOOD things about Ed Mofrad and his associates, especially Arneil Mejia. I have used them for YEARS, with fine and happy results, but this year, i..e. right now, with the tax law changes, I was an in absolute panic, along with millions of others, and I called ED. I was hysterical, as only a Senior can be when she finds she is totally not in control. Ed and his associate, Arneil, could not have been more responsible, more responsive, more knowledgeable, more professional . In the CHAOTIC atmosphere that the new laws have created, the calm and consideration, the professional (not hysteric) approach that was used, makes me think that tonight i will actually have a good night's sleep: the first one since all of this was put into law (and before). Ok, enough about my problems, I recommend MOFRAD FINANCIAL SOLUTION with great pleasure. And I cannot believe I had not written before, but.... read more

I want to echo the 5 star review left on here by Natalie about Mofrad Financial Solutions. My partner and I were also having issues filing our taxes as a same-sex registered domestic partnership. We had already filed with a local tax preparer....bad mistake!!! Sure he was cheap, but when it came to preparing taxes for a gay couple, he had NO CLUE what he was doing. I proceeded to call the IRS help line, and guess what? THEY had NO CLUE how to deal with our specific situation either!!! Enter Ed Mofrad and his talented and highly-knowledgeable team at Mofrad Financial Solutions. We can't say enough good things about the attentive and warm reception we were received with. First of all, he was easy to reach. The other places we tried to contact didn't get back to us right away or failed to respond with correct, up-to-date information. Not so with Ed! Within the first minutes of our conversation I knew right away that we had found our guy! Ed was informative and clearly explained the most current information we were looking for. He knew all about the IRS Publication 555 and what we had to do to rectify our taxes. We set up an appointment for just two days later and within a couple of hours at our meeting, he had straightened out this tedious situation we were faced with. In the end we walked out feeling confident that our filing matters with the IRS were resolved and in the hands of a true professional. We highly recommend Mofrad Financial Solutions to anyone, especially LGBT folk seeking the most qualified and informed tax preparation service at a reasonable cost. Thank you to Ed and his team! read more

I was a little hesitant to post a review before getting our return - well, our return came back very quickly without a hitch! Exactly what Ed predicted we would get back, electronically delivered. Thank you, Ed. We will be back. read more

To all of you with tax problems and don't know where to turn, CALL MOLFRAD FINANCIAL SOLUTIONS. I called on a Saturday afternoon and Ed answered the call himself. The audit from the IRS put me in a deep depression and I did not know what to do. I make a small income and the IRS wanted my entire savings. Ed, in his kind caring way, made me feel like everything was going to be alright. He made an immediate appointment for me. He and his staff know their stuff and reduced the IRS demand to a reasonable amendment to my original filing. I really can not say enough on Ed's professional knowledge and caring attitude. Thank you Ed. read more

I got myself into a tax situation that snowballed into a problem I could not handle. I called around for tax prep firms and financial assistants but had no luck until I stumbled upon Mofrad Financial. Ed personally evaluated my multiple tax issues and assured me he and his team could help. What's more important, he made me feel as though I wasn't a total screw-up and really managed our first few conversations remarkably well. His tax team went to work and Kevin has been instrumental in the process. Other than their tax prep fees, which are fair, I don't know how I can ever repay them for the kindness they've shown me. read more

I received double that of what I received last from H&R Block last year! Above that, they were all very kind and helpful in educating me about my taxes and on expectations from the IRS. They were also very professional and convenient since we did most of the communicating by phone and email, which worked well with my busy schedule. Hands down, best experience I've had by far. You can bet I'm returning back to them again next tax season! read more
