If I could give zero stars I would. I've been coming here for quite a long time and I even…read moreencouraged my mom to bring her dog. I called at 2:30 today, twice, and no one answered so we drove over. At 2:45 we walked in and the front desk woman (who said she was the manager) said that they could not take our husky even though there were FIVE empty bathtubs. She said only the 2 tubs in the back were for big dogs and they were full. I explained that the other tub was not even 2 feet away so it shouldn't really make it any difference. She had no answer for that so then she started talking about how they were closing at 4pm and they needed over an hour to clean (even though the other five tubes were already clean). The whole thing was completely ridiculous!!! In a day where people are dying to get customers they've just lost two. And I will tell everyone I know not to come here. UPDATE: While I appreciate that you the owner responded, I note that you did not apologize in your response (except to say you were sorry you missed the phone calls) nor did you take any responsibility for what happened. In fact, you actually indicated I did not understand your rules - that they should have been explained to me more clearly.. Additionally, let me add that as I was writing my Yelp review in the parking lot, I watched the manager stand outside and talk with a client for a good 15 minutes - which made it very clear she wasn't exactly rushing to clean the place to get out by 4 as she'd indicated. Lastly, let me also make it clear that the manager was quite rude. Due to her complete unwillingness to accommodate us in any way, I told her she was making it a necessity for me to leave a negative review. She simply shrugged and said "go ahead."

I walked in without an appointment, and the service I received was excellent. We waited about 3 hours total, including the time for the tests and results. Honestly, I've been to other vets where I had to wait an hour even with an appointment just for a simple checkup. Here, we were taken to a room right away, and the vet tech and Dr. Mina came in promptly. Dr. Mina is the best! He is honest, caring, and keeps you updated throughout the process. The receptionists were also so sweet and professional, and the vet tech was wonderful as well. I'm so grateful for the care they gave my baby Carly. I will definitely be bringing all my fur babies here from now on! Highly recommend!

I am extremely disappointed with the service we received from this clinic. My husband and I were…read moreinstructed to book an appointment for both of our cats after discovering that our oldest cat had worms. We were already nervous as we've never dealt with this issue before. Over the phone, we were told that we could bring them in, receive the necessary medication, and were quoted the price. Having been to this clinic before and having a mostly positive experience with their vaccinations, I trusted that everything had been clearly explained. Apparently, that was not the case. My husband brought both cats in and was told to wait in the lobby. He waited for OVER AN HOUR before a nurse finally came out and told him that all they had done was weigh our cats and take their temperatures. When he asked about the medication, he was told that we were expected to administer it ourselves at home. That is the complete opposite of what we understood from our phone call. My husband reasonably asked why we had been instructed to bring both cats in if we were simply going to give them the medication ourselves at home. The explanation? They needed to weigh them. The medication is for cats weighing between 2 and 16 pounds. Something they expressed already over the phone. Our cats weigh 6 and 10 pounds, respectively, and had recently been to this clinic for vaccinations. So why were we not told over the phone that the "appointment" was essentially just to weigh them and take their temperatures? Why were we made to drive 30 minutes each way, put two already anxious cats through a stressful car ride, and wait for over an hour for something that could apparently have been handled by simply picking up the medication like a goddamn pharmacy? To make matters worse, when my husband went to check out, the final price was $20 MORE than the amount we were quoted over the phone. No clear explanation and absolutely no respect for our time. By the time we finally left, both cats were understandably distressed, upset, and yowling. This entire experience felt completely unnecessary. What exactly was happening with our cats for over an hour? When my husband asked, the nurses couldn't give him a clear answer. I understand that veterinary clinics get busy and have other animals to care for. That is not the issue. The issue is the lack of communication and the hour-long wait without a clear explanation, plus the discrepancy in pricing This visit has seriously damaged our confidence in their service. We will not be returning to this clinic. P.S. Invest in better nurses and a liquid version of the deworming medication. Cats aren't dumbasses; treats can only hide so much.

We cannot say enough wonderful things about McClave Veterinary Hospital and the incredible care…read morethey have given our dogs over the years. In particular, we will always be deeply grateful for everything they did for our beloved Rhett Butler over the past two years. When Rhett was diagnosed with kidney disease two years ago, Dr. Greg Sauer and the entire team went above and beyond to care for him, keep him comfortable, and give us more precious time together. They treated him with so much patience, compassion, and genuine love, and they never made us feel like just another patient or another appointment. They truly cared about Rhett and about our family. The techs and staff are caring, kind, attentive, and incredibly supportive. And Dr. Sauer is, without question, one of the most compassionate, patient, and kind veterinarians we have ever encountered. It is clear that he practices medicine for all the right reasons - because he genuinely loves animals and wants to help them and the people who love them. If you are looking for a veterinary team that treats your pets like family, we cannot recommend McClave Veterinary Hospital highly enough.

I have been enrolled in careclub with auto renew since at least 2018. Without any notifications on…read moretheir app, or an email they have gone ahead and canceled my membership! My dog has had severe allergies which lead to ear infections so Ive been going in regularly for check ups, tests, medications on repeat. And instead of informing me my careclub is no longer active FOR WHATEVER REASON, they have been charging me for each visit (that should be covered by careclub). Shady. Literally nonsense. Well, VCA you have lost a client that has been coming to you since 2005 with 4 pets.
