After 40 years of on and off back problems, my back popped in a weird way about 3 weeks ago and I've been in almost constant pain since. I tried stretching and massage but everything I did seemed to make it worse. At times the pain was so much I felt it would be permanent and kind of started to give up hope. Finally, I went to a chiropractor last week who obviously had no idea how to approach my specific condition and walked out in a little worse pain than before. Then, I had the incredible good fortune of finding Downtown Chiropractic and Dr. Mark Whallon. I went in for my first appointment today, and in just a few minutes, he had expertly zeroed in on the problem... and fixed it! It's been two hours and I am pain-free for the first time in weeks. I've been to several chiropractors in my life, but none with anywhere close to the mastery and expertise of Dr. Whallon. Not only is Mark at the top of his profession, it's obvious that he truly cares. You can't fake the kind of empathy and compassion he exudes during a treatment. I don't write a lot of reviews here, but when you find someone so brilliant and competent at what they do, I think it's good to let others know in the hope that sharing my experience could help someone else who is suffering as I was. read more

Dr. Levon is a gifted Chiropractor with a great attitude. I did my therapy with Dr. Levon after my accident and if I hadn't I'd probably be using a cane. He is patient and understanding and can really break down information so you can understand. He also speaks multiple languages including Armenian and Spanish. I've been in to see both Dr. Whallon and Erin, the massage therapist (amongst other specialties she practices) and they are both incredible! I went in today with intense burning lower back pain and booked a 90 minute massage therapy session & I can't even feel the pain I went in with now. I've been coming in to see Dr. Whallon and every time I come in for adjustments because of pain or discomfort I always feel better and refreshed. Both of them are super knowledgeable and explain what is going on and why you're experiencing what you are and are very kind and personable people. Also, Jay, which is the person who books all their appointments is so friendly & prompt, helpful and calls you back w/ any updates or necessary information. He helps keep me pain-free and comfortable. His office is convenient to my work office which is absolutely necessary with my busy schedule. Truly a team of miracle workers! Dr. W, James, the whole group is the best. I spend too much time in the car and my lower back often is killing me. Dr Whallon has offered significant relief to my mothers knee pain as well. Followed them from the office down on 5th and flower and this one is so much easier to get to.
