He will either see me or get back to me via MyChart messages right away. If he's out of the office, another provider will take care of me. I mean, what can you say about a doctor? He's caring, gentle, he listens, he works with me and my specialists on my myriad of medical problems. He tells it like it is, he won't sugar coat. So if you're looking for a doctor to coddle you, it's not Wu. Though, this isn't to say he's a mean, crochety type that'll yell at you if you didn't renew your prescription or lose that weight. But he will bring it up. The only bad thing is, he's so good that he's pretty full. Sometimes you have to wait awhile to get in. And he's not always accepting new patients. Though, for me and a co-worker he took a family member when we mentioned it.

I visited Beachwood Family Health & Surgery Center (Cleveland Clinic) on Saturday. Yes, some doctors have Saturday appointments at this location. I frequent the location for my bloodwork, quick Urgent Care visits, and primary care visit. This time, I was very impressed with my experience (not always the case). From the moment I arrived, the facility's welcoming atmosphere and efficient operations stood out. The parking lot offers various options including self-park, parking garage, and valet. Typically, this place doesn't get busy, so it's easy to park. The lobby has check-in kiosks and helpful greeters to navigate you. They're always eager to help if you address them. The lobby also has a lot of greenery which really adds to your experience even if you're sick. The campus is pretty small and easy to navigate. There's helpful signage to indicate parts of the building. It's a much better navigation experience than any other Cleveland Clinic experience. Think of it as a suburban campus that's easily located on Cedar Rd. The center offers a wide range of services, including primary care, specialty services, and an Express Care Clinic for urgent needs. The convenience of having on-site amenities like radiology, laboratory, and pharmacy services, and bloodwork is unmatched. With a positive review this time, I'll say that I would highly not recommend visiting their OBGYN department here. I had a very negative experience which made me switch campuses to better care. Overall, my visit to the Beachwood Family Health & Surgery Center was a positive experience. Dr Villabona is a fiery Columbian doc who seems to feel patients can wait up to an hour to see her while she then pushes them through an appointment with nothing but dictates. She doesn't care whether you agree with her or not. She could not care less whether you see her or go see someone else. She will refer you to a specialist as soon as you tell her something more than the flu or a cold is in play. Socialized medicine is, clearly, a much better suited model of practice for this South American doctor. This doc is overwhelmed and under-performs. She only works part-time as well, which, shows up in her performance. I would strongly recommend not seeing this doc unless you are interested in feeling like a number and not an individual. Perhaps a gulag in Siberia would be a better forum for this doc to perform her medical arts skills (or lack there of.) UHHS and Markowitz, Rosenberg, Stein and Associates should do a thorough review of this docs skills, outcomes and overall performance. Thanks to Yelp for providing this forum for consumers. It's about time docs are knocked down to normal size people and evaluated freely, fairly and honestly by the actual customer - the patient!

I got in for a new patient appt. next day. Dr. Holtzmeier was on time, very professional and great bedside manner. I didn't feel like he was rushing me out when I asked him tons of questions either. The only thing I would change would be to have better signage for his office. They are located on an entire floor above Hoolihan's Restaurant on Detroit Rd. (off the Columbia exit) but all that's there is a University Hospitals sign. Kind of confusing but so worth it once you know where you are going. I'm quite happy with my choice of Dr. Brant Holtzmeier.

He rotated periodically through the physicians office that I worked in. I came to not only like him personally, but to also respect his professionally. The physicians that I worked for regarded him so highly that they wanted him to change his specialty from internal medicine to cardiology and then join their practice. I think that speaks volumes about Dr. Wells and his abilities. Dr. Wells did choose to remain with internal medicine and opened his own private practice with Dr. Uhall. I immediately became a patient of his and had both of my parents switch their care over to him because of my faith in him. He took care of both of my parents until their passing, He was a tremendous source of strength to me in helping me with their care. I was deeply saddened when he chose to leave private practice because it is almost impossible to find a physician of his caliber anymore. When I was trying to make a decision on which local bariatric program to choose for my care, I discovered that Dr. Wells had recently accepted the position as the Medical Director of the Summa program. I knew immediately that my search was over. I knew I would receive no finer care in any other program than I would by Dr. Wells. Dr. Wells never let me down on his care in the bariatric program. I will always highly recommend Dr. Wells to everyone. He is a good and decent man and an excellent physician. My only concern for Dr. Wells is, that I noticed over time, that they were making his schedule increasingly busy and difficult for him to be able to spend the kind of time that he wanted to with each patient. Dr. Wells knows that each patient requires individual care and time and he wants to be able to give that to each patient. This is not his fault, but I have no doubt that he continues to do the best possible job he can given what he has to work with. I will always be one of Dr. Wells' biggest fans!

Tear my son's face open I have had a very traumatizing experience with University hospital so my anxiety was at an all time high. However this young men comes into the room with urgency & concern. He still had on his coat & book bag in his hand. He was there to stitch up my sons face & it was a very complex procedure. A small part of my son's lip was chewed. He did a phenomenal job. My sons face looks amazing (compared) & is healing very well. I've tried to follow up with him but the facility cant seem to find him. I hope they give him the support & recognition he deserves.
