The receptionists are ALWAYS helpful and friendly, and they make you feel like a priority every time. Every doctor, nurse, nurse practitioner, and physician's assistant is well trained, thorough, and, best of all, compassionate. They listen carefully and acknowledge all concerns, and they treat each patient with respect and deference! It doesn't matter how "good" the doctor is; if good bedside manner isn't there, there isn't trust. Plus, the doctor on staff one day was able to diagnose in 15 minutes, what the local E.R. didn't do in FOURTEEN HOURS. I'm so glad that such a great resource is available so close to me!

Never in MY LIFE have I dealt with such horrible and unprofessional DOCTOR LEVEL staff. Not only did they prescribe me the wrong dosage of my controlled substance medication and REFUSED to fix it, they then call me and tell me it shouldn't have been prescribed at all - not my problem. The DID prescribe it, the mis-prescribed it, then told me too bad when asked to fix the error and that it shouldn't have been prescribed in the first place - once again, not MY fault. They are the medical professionals, not me, how it is my mistake they don't know what they should and should not prescribe? But yet, I'm the one who was told when I called, to "find a new doctor, that I had 3 weeks enough medication to get me through, that my pharmacy flagged the meds which is why they weren't filled (lies)" and the list goes on. I asked to speak with the medical director for several DAYS, and not until my pharamacy called did I recieve any communcaiton from him. Once I did he was rude, entitled, cut me off, and once again made it seem like it was MY fault THEY messed up. He then said he would "do me a favor" and "not report me " (not report me for getting my prescribed medication filled? Make that make sense), he then said if I DELETED MY NEGATIVE REVIEW HE'D DO ME A FAVOR AND SEND ME A REFERENCE OF A PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR - no surprise here, but I never heard another word from him. I am disgusted these people call themselves medical professionals and people have to actually trust them with their lives. DO NOT GO HERE - STAY AWAY. I will continue commenting and leaving reviews so the same thing that happened to me doesn't happen to others. THESE ARE HORRIBLE PEOPLE AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE PATIENTS WELL BEING AT ALL. Please do not make the same mistake as me and trust these people with your health! This could have been a life or death situation - and they did NOT care! First of all I called and was on hold for over 30 minutes and no one answered. I called back and went through the same thing again. I called a third time and finally got through to someone. That individual was clueless as to what was going on with my scheduled procedure. She told me I was scheduled for a different procedure than the one that was ordered. When I explained I was supposed to get a different procedure she informed me I was incorrect. I called the Cleveland Clinic to verify what had been ordered and I was correct North Shore had me scheduled for the wrong test. I called them back and phone rang for 25 minutes straight and no one answered. I waited 45 minutes called back and had the same result. I then called the Cleveland Clinic back and they put me on hold and tried to contact North Shore directly. They came back on and told me the offices were closed, that was at 3:23 PM and North Shore states on their website they are open until 4:00 PM on Fridays. North Shore claims they have won awards and are highly acclaimed, based on my dealings with them it must be for gross incompetence and unprofessionalism. Do yourself a favor and stay as far away from this 'medical circus' as you can. From what I can see they couldn't care less about their patients only the patients insurance and their bottom line.

I am a veteran who was visiting Akron OH from Atlanta GA for a family reunion. while we were…read moredriving up, i think i must've slept in the wrong position or something because my neck was KILLING me! i kept taking ibuprophen, but it got worse as the night went on. about 1:30 in the morning, i told my dad i needed to go to the doctor because it was throbbing and i couldn't sleep. so both my parents, my grandfather and i drove around to each VA clinic in the area we could find. we could not find a nearby emergency VA hospital (that was open) to save our lives!! we ended up calling the VA hospital in Atlanta. they transferred us to this one in Cleveland, which was about a good 40 min drive from where we were. by then the pain was so unbearable that i was in tears and curled up into a little ball. when we got there, we still couldn't find it because the address was kinda quirky. i was just so extremely agitated. when we finally go there, we went straight to the emergency room. i didn't even have to wait long before they put me in an exam room. everyone was really nice and the doctor (a gorgeous tall blonde female) told me i was having severe muscle spasms. they gave me a shot and a perscription that they filled before i left the exam room. great hospital, but awful directions.

I was brought in via ambulance two times within a 3-day period. I broke my wrist and was taken to…read morethe ER. The first visit to the ER, the employees were super friendly. The nursing staff was on point; they numbed my arm really well and adjusted my wrist bone that was broken. Afterwards, I was sent home. Everything was fine once I got home, but I had no sling and a very heavy cast on the following day. My whole hand was numb, so I called to talk to the advice nurse. I was advised to come back to the hospital because something wasn't right. The second time I went back was two days later via ambulance again to the ER. I was taken to a room they took the cast off, but they didn't give me enough pain medication when they were adjusting my wrist. I almost jumped off the gurney. I was in so much pain. I complained to the doctor that was fixing my wrist about the pain, but they didn't do anything about it. The water used to apply. The plaster was so hot; it was literally burning my arm. I complained about it to the doctor. Of course, they did nothing about it. I'm not a type of person that complains about anything. The second time, I was not impressed whatsoever. That is why I'm getting such a low score. I don't know if it was the other staff or is it the doctors or what the deal was, but I was not happy about it all. I complained about not having a sling the first time around. Why the cast was coming off the second cast literally came off two days after I got the cast on. After that, I was done. I went back to Cleveland Clinic. I'm sure there are other places in this hospital that are decent, but as far as my experience, I will not come back here.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with this office has been incredibly frustrating…read moreand disappointing. After accidentally missing an appointment, I reached out to reschedule and was told I could not because I supposedly had a past-due balance of $105. I knew this was incorrect because I had already paid $110 through the patient portal. Instead of investigating before denying care, I was simply told I couldn't be rescheduled until I paid the balance. After I provided proof of payment, the office admitted they had found my payment--it had been in a section of their system that only the office manager could access. While I appreciate the apology, this issue should have been resolved before I was denied care. The most concerning part of this experience is that these were mental health services. Patients seeking mental health care are often already in a vulnerable position. Being turned away because of an internal billing error created unnecessary stress and delayed access to care. Administrative mistakes happen, but patients should not bear the consequences of those mistakes. I hope this office improves its billing processes and communication so others don't have to fight to receive the care they need. I continue to see my therapist and nurse practitioner, Devon and Jennifer, who are amazing. My experience with the office staff is extremely poor.
