I had to cancel my appointment to get a 'cardiac clearance' because the procedure was cancelled. I want to say they have the right person on their phones. Maureen answered my call and was helpful and efficient and quite a pleasure to talk with. That's the type of person you should want for the face of your company! She's a keeper. I'll update my review if I have to see the doctors there. But at least you know they care about who they let speak for them. IMO, the initial contact is crucial.

However, the parent company Cardiovascular Consultants uses an unscrupulous billing practice of being ill prepared for the patients and force a second, unnecessary appointment. The medical providers throughout Ohio have contracts with the insurance companies that allow for a preset charge set on a case by case basis which the insurance companies evaluate. So for instance, if the provider charges the insurance company 200 dollars and the amount allowed is 90 dollars, they have to honor that plus the copay of what your contracts allow. This provider does not honor this policy, charging you a ridiculously high rae way over the insurance premium maximum plus charges an additional 5 dollars for each statement they sent you plus a 20 dollar collection charge. So a 120 dollar bill turns into 265 very quickly and they are not wiling to compromise that. Cleveland Clinic physicians are not permitted to do this and are generally higher rated. Ask your doctor to refer you to a CCH physician.
