The young man proceeded by calling the guard "an asshole" and honestly, I couldn't agree more. He was more than an asshole. You are not world class healthcare.

What did I do wrong?...I thought about how they taunted me...told me that everyone has back pain....diminished everything that I was feeling. I realized later why I was left in a room crying by myself in a dark room. Why no one would open my door to see if I had fell out of bed, to see why I was moaning. why, I'll tell you why, I am pretty sure that they labeled me as a "drug seeker." they didn't believe me. That is why they "wrote me off." They thought it was a show. Well let me tell you something. It wasn't. This is the 1st time in 40 years that I ever called a ambulance for myself...I waited 2 1/2 hours before doing so...to be sure, because I don't want to waste a service such as an ambulance. They labeled me as a drug seeker. Well, let me tell you, I have never tried drugs. I don't drink alcohol. I can count on one hand how many vicodon I have taken in my life. What happened, is that the doctor who asked to do the rectal exam, instead of talking to me about the importance of it, explaining why it is necessary, or even going 1 step further to tell me that if I say no, he will discharge me.....I would have obliged if I knew that he was to walk out and tell them I am denying medical attention and to release me!! I am humiliated, and upset about my treatment.

I had to finally flag someone down to get any info. They wanted to keep him overnight and they've kept him since. The surgery took place on Thursday & it's now after 4 pm on Monday. He keeps giving me time frames he will be released then hours will pass and he tells me they claim he's not ready. He just wants to come home and we want him home. I've now had to take off 2 days of work and I just keep waiting and waiting with no real answer. My guess is they're trying to milk the insurance company for all they can. Despicable. I've never felt more ignored like I have with this hospital. They're totally incompetent. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.
