Don't bother selling anything here, because they only do loans. And if you have a good item valued over like $200, don't bother trying this place. Amazing place, amazing staff. I have unfortunately had to patronize Sharkey's on a few occasions. Staff are very helpful. A couple of times I have had to go over time alloted to get my stuff back. They are wonderful about it. Yes, after I believe 3 days over, you do have to pay a "per day" fee, but it truly is minimal. They have helped me over and above through some truly sticky situations more than once. read more

Stay away if you're buying used PC's. These guys definitely live up to their name. I bought a R6 PC from them. however. and the hard-drive was damaged. Buyer beware. 1) They don't enforce social distancing. I had people bumping into me to see products. They do spray everyone's hands, which is cool, however; they can't seem to manage how many customers are in the store at a time. 2) Customer service was very poor. initially when I called into their store to get pricing they told me they would call me back in an hour and they never did. I had to call them back again to check on them and they still didn't have the price. I had to replace my computer and the guy who was helping me out was often told to help other customers out right in the middle of him doing something for me. While these guys stand there at the computer doing nothing. My sales guy was nice however I was just fed up with the long wait. I nearly walked out twice and the sales guy had to holler at me to stay. They either need to prevent the flow of traffic that comes into the store, or they need to let a salesperson do their job. It is RUDE to help multiple customers at the same time especially when I am doing a high ticket purchase. 3) The only positive thing they they did was give me a good deal on the PC $200 off their price. 4) The salesperson went and took my PC somewhere to blow out the dust inside the computer this is when I suspect when he damaged the hard-drive. When I first came in the hard-drive was fine and I saw to hard-drives in windows. But, when he took it to the back , he never put the computer back on so I didn't know I was going to have an issue until I got home. Also, the sales person said that the mouse and keyboard were included and then later told me they were not included. 5) When I get home I didn't see the 1T drive being registered on my computer so I open up the drive to notice that the cord to the drive was broken. The prongs were bent and the sata cable female end had the components of the male end it. 6) I waited till they opened again to call him to let them know my issue. The first thing the guy did (instead of apologizing) was reprimand me for opening the hardware. I am a computer guy of course I am going to diagnose the problem before I call them. I got very angry with his a accusatory response and then he put me on hold to calm me down that just made me angrier. When he came back he told me "We were GOOD to you". Oh yeah? I think it was the other way around. The only reason why I came to sharkys was that they already had a prebuilt PC to buy, I could of be able to upgrade my current computer for the same price with new hardware. I was such a fool. After spending $1200 on a laptop you would expect some humility and customer service, but he was already on the attack. He said that if I didn't open it then they could of seen what they could do, but I almost think that they would of accused me of opening the drive "because when you were in the store it was fine". I WAS aware that it was final sale, however, they sold me a bad "bag of goods". I am very disappointed in his response. i USED TO SHOP THERE often but I will bring my business elsewhere, they obviously don't give a damn about their customers health nor do they care about people who spend more than $1000 in their store. Now, I have a paperweight and will be forced to spend me money more now of a salesperson negligence. I will never forget this experience as it will be burnt in my mind when I wasted $1200 at sharkys. I think what makes this all sting is the lack of respect for me on the phone. The customer service made things even worst, making it the worst buy experience I ever had. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! BEWARE IF SPENDING MONEY HERE. Bought an expensive pool cue butt end for over $570. Brought directly home in a case supplied by them.. The sticker was covering a dent and 3 cracked inlays on the cue. Called manager and was told all sales final.And said there wasn't damage when they looked. They will not return my money They agreed that I should take it to court.. PATHETIC RESPONSE. He said they have been in buisness for over 20yrs, how many people have they done shady deals with in that time? Terrible customer service. read more

Sharky has some cool stuff and I have no moral qualms about purchasing it. I haven't pawned anything with these guys, so I can't speak to their character, but they do have a pretty good selection of your typical pawn shop stuff, like cameras (could be a better selection), stereos, crap guitars, amps, cds (very bad selection) and tvs. They have a huge dvd collection at the going rate of $5 a pop and their stereos are super-cheap. They all look in good condition, fair sizes and most are just over $100. I appreciate Sharky's honesty with the guitar amps by listing the damages not visible to the naked eye. I went in with some specific requirements on a musical instrument for my daughter. the staff were helpful and searched through their wearhouse to find me several instruments that were close to what i required for both price and quality. They gave me time and space to evaluate the instruments and were happy to answer my questions. We negotiated a fair price and I am happy with the purchase. I wanted to buy a cordless drill for my husband and went here. The drill he wants was $20 more than the new price at Home Depot. It was very used and should be less. My husband called in and asked how much they would give him for three or four seasons of a TV show. He was told $10 per season. He brought them in and the guy at the counter said he would only give him $5 per season. He tried to argue with the clerk but the clerk wouldn't budge. My husband walked away. This isn't the only time this happened either. The man in front of my husband at Sharky's was quoted a price on the phone that was $20 higher than what the clerk was now offering. We've never seen anything remarkable or great here. The prices still seem high to us but we haven't been to that many pawn shops. When you bring your item in and borrow money... you will not get your item back in the same condition you gave it apparentley..... I brang in my xbox in the original box with foam pieces to hold it in place. When i got the xbox back the foam pieces were not there. The guys tried telling me i didnt bring it with the foam pieces.... i did. So they gave me some broken foam pieces. Liars they are. Do not trust them. read more

Sharky's pawnshop may be a good place to check out if you're looking to buy some discounted items, but is not a friendly establishment when you're looking to sell. I brought in a 12 megapixel Olympus camera, complete with case, memory card and charger. Before I told them I wanted to sell it, I looked around the store to see what price they were selling similar products for. I found a camera that was the same brand with the same amount of megapixels selling for $70. I went to the counter and offered to sell them the camera I had brought in for $60 and the guy offered me a measly $40. When I pointed out that they were selling a near identical camera, that did not come with a memory card, case or even a charger for ten dollars more than I had offered, he started being rude and said some crap about how they sit on the items they buy for months before making money off them. So I just took my camera and left. Unless you're looking to get hustled by a band of unprofessional theives, I suggest you stay far away from this pawnshop. read more
