Worst place ever ive been a patient for over 2 years you would think they would no me by now or at…read moreleast my dr but no they think mental health is a damn joke when its someones life and my life involves my kids and i cannot be going through withdrawals every single month because either a dr changes my appointment and then eventually disappear like this month! It gets even worse im on 3mg of medication a day and this random dr vida lynn sends in my refill but sends half my dose which means I will be out of my medication again 2 weeks early and will be going through withdrawals again which causes me to have seizures!! I spoke with my lawyer because it got this bad and I found a great replacement near me in brick, they actually care about me and my wellbeing not like these messed up evil people that work at azz medical! I will be at all there offices this week and I cant wait to see there faces! So if anyone if thinking of going to azz medical PLEASE DONT JUST SAVE THE TROUBLE, PAIN, HEADACHE AND ALL OTHER CRAP AND FIND A REAL DR OFFICE WITH REAL physiatrists!! Grace behavior health is the best i go this month and cant wait! Oh yeah one last thing i havent gotten anyone meds from azz in 4 months cuz i switched doctors because of this happening every month if not more and they still thought i was on suboxone when ive been clean off suboxone for over 6 months now through my iop and you sould think they would know that!!

Little can be done to make the preparation and actual event more palatable, but at least it can be simplified and made more humane with understanding of the emotional aspects of the test, and the physical challenges associated with drinking copious amounts of vile tasting fluids, a mandatory clear liquid diet for 36 hours before the operation, and the totally unpleasant process of emptying the lower gastrointestinal tract. Ugh! Gastroenterology Group at St. Mary Medical Center does it as well as possible. They invite you to their office weeks in advance to review the process in detail. Many pages of easy to understand instructions are provided. They record insurance information, and even offer samples of the preparation meds if the patient lacks coverage for this cost. On the designated day, when the effect of starvation and voiding is at max effect, their staff is courteous and compassionate in getting the patient ready for general anesthesia and the procedure itself. Everyone was skilled, patient and trained in low key interaction. From getting into those damn surgical gowns, to setting the intravenous lines in the arm, to nestling the pillow comfortably under the head/neck as you fall asleep, to the gentle wake up back in your personal space with juice and crackers, the flow is smooth and relaxed. That Dr. Barash advised I would likely have to return in five years for another scope almost seemed an afterthought.
