Nice Mom & Pop breakfast feel. The only issue for me is they only accept cash and there is no ATM on the premises.

I planned on grabbing something to go after the show. As I was perusing the menu I saw several dishes pass by and decided I couldn't wait any longer. In particular I noted the wings and chicken fingers, both of which looked amazing. I got a table next to the bar in their lovely beer garden. Has some TVs, a very friendly staff, and the food looked great. I was blown away by their chicken fingers. Obviously hand breaded, and served with Comeback sauce and your choice of ranch or blue cheese. I ate a few and saved the biggest one for a late night snack. Ended up eating it a couple days later and it was still delicious! I'll have to try the wings next time. Service was great, from hostess to servers, everyone had smiles. Food came out promptly and my drink was refilled without asking. Definitely a good start to the night. The Dungeon Crawl itself was the highlight of the evening! This is in the lounge/bar area of Silk City. It's an intimate setup with the stage in a corner with a dance floor and the bar area and a few tables at the other end. A DJ warms things up while the main act comes on at 8:00. It was Dogs in a Pile for my first visit and I was blown away by the sound and energy. 2 sets of amazing improv and jamming, with a dedicated crowd of music lovers. I can't wait to get to my next one!

He was too busy chit chatting with other employees and watching the flyers game to do his job - it's not even like the place was busy, it was a Wednesday. Maybe the bar is better, this place has a unique setting and I've heard decent things but my experience was a total miss.

Both meals were fresh, flavorful, generously portioned, and beautifully prepared. We would absolutely order them again. Our server, Benjamin, deserves special recognition. He was friendly, attentive, checked on us at just the right times, and never made us feel rushed. His service was outstanding and added to an otherwise wonderful dining experience. The only disappointment was the beverage pricing. I'll admit that we typically don't study the menu prices before ordering--that was probably our mistake. After eating in restaurants for more than 70 years, however, I can honestly say these beverage prices are among the most outrageous I've encountered. We were charged $3.99 for a single cup of black coffee and $5.99 for one glass of lemonade--nearly $10 for two beverages. The coffee was simply one ordinary cup of black coffee, and the lemonade was so incredibly sweet that it was almost undrinkable. Neither beverage came close to justifying its price. It's unfortunate because everything else was excellent. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and Benjamin's exceptional service make Silver Diner a place we would gladly visit again. However, management should seriously reconsider charging nearly $10 for one standard cup of coffee and one mediocre glass of lemonade. Prices like that leave customers feeling taken advantage of and detract from what is otherwise a terrific dining experience. We'll definitely be back--but next time we'll probably skip the beverages unless the pricing becomes more reasonable.

We wanted to get some "Philly food" and opted for a roast pork and broccoli rabe sandwich with a not so "Philly" staple, a gyro. The roast pork was a little dry, but the flavors were good. I've never had this sandwich before but it reminded me a French dip, which I love! The gyro was also very good! Large portion and great flavors, especially the tzatziki sauce! Service was a little slow, but they were busy. The restaurant was clean, but definitely an older establishment. Overall a great experience!

It has both indoor and outdoor seatings. The visit occurred on a Saturday morning and the place was packed inside and out. We were seated right away and hot coffee arrived quickly along with the menu. The servers were friendly and food also arrived quickly. I can't believe how much food was on the plate!!! Just with the potatoes and omelette alone was a ginormous portion. It also came with toast of my choice. I got the Spanish omelette without mushrooms. Don't judge me for eating my eggs with ketchup, please! I liked how the eggs tasted but not so much for the potatoes. I found them too greasy. I also wish my basket of jellies came with more marmalade!! Still, the food and the service turnaround time was phenomenal given the volume of diners in the restaurant. If I'm back in the area again, I would love to try out their pancakes and waffles. The ones eaten by other diners looked delicious!

Inside, the food was fresh, plentiful, and delicious. We chose side salads instead of fries and they were a great size to start the meal. I had the open‑face Turkey Reuben and the portion was definitely shareable and very good. My husband had the fish and chips and the cod was fried perfectly, 4 nice fillets, crisp outside and tender inside. He swapped the fries for a baked potato and it tasted like it came straight from the oven, hot and fluffy. They offered a long list of specials for 16.99 that included beverage, soup, salad, an entrée and dessert. The cakes and pies looked fabulous and many were ordering dessert. We were too full this time, but next visit we'll save room. Our waitress, Lala, was wonderfu, attentive, friendly and always checking in at the right moments. The manager greeted us warmly when we arrived and again when we left, which added to the friendly atmosphere. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out. We would definitely recommend this diner and would happily return.

The latke was okay but it had way too much sauce for my liking (kewpie mayo and unagi sauce). The carrots and tomatoes were fresh and delicious, though the portions were small. The French fries were nice to order and pair with the NY strip and General Tso-Wich sandwich. For mains, the grilled branzino was delicious (though the portion was small), the NY strip was a bit chewy, and the General Tso-Wich had good flavor. For dessert, they put a sparkler since it was my birthday but I wish they offered a complimentary birthday dessert. Both the sponge cake and Olivia's pancake à la mode were too sweet for my taste. When we left, the hostess didn't greet or acknowledge us so I didn't think they were friendly or welcoming. Unfortunately, I don't think I would come here again to celebrate special occasions.
