The first 30 of the 40 years I've been with Lakeshore Dr. Esser handled all of my issues related to my health. But now I'm supposed to see seven providers ? I am disabled. It is hard to get in a car and go sit in a waiting room. this program is NOT designed for patients care but to squeeze thousands of of dollars out of patients to line the pockets of Evergreen Health Owners and Doctors.

It is so much easier for me to navigate through the Kaiser system than locate independent providers through Regence Coverage. You call one number and are set up for all your medical needs. I have NEVER had an easier time or better results than I experienced with Seattle's Kaiser group. Their doctors, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, customer phone representatives and all support staff really seem to care about you and your health. This is problematic. I am the Director of H.R for a company of about 50 people working at the Port of Seattle. We recently changed health plans. Unfortunately, the "upgraded plan" available to executives is a Regence (Blue Cross/Blue Shield Plan). Ironically, I feel like that this "upgrade" isn't an upgrade at all. I LOVE KAISER and I am likely to go back whatever the cost after we renew in January of 2020. I have never experienced better care, more follow up, less wait- time and fewer additional fees than I have with Kaiser. I came in to meet Dr. Church (Redmond), because of a scheduling issue Dr. Church was SUPER thorough, knowledgeable, professional and considerate. After I left his office, Dr. Church researched how best to alleviate my menopause drama. He followed up with both me and my pharmacist and suggested I try a little different medication. Since I have started on my new meds, I am symptom-less!!

The services I've received have been great, and my appointments to visit the doctor are quick. I love that there's a self check-in station, and I usually don't have to wait too long before being called. As far as the lab goes, I've consistently had poor experiences with long waiting time. The first time, I was the only one in line and waited over 20 minutes to give a urine sample. Last week, I came in the afternoon around 3 p.m. to give a urine sample, and a sign was over the kiosk saying that staff was on break and unavailable, so I was frustrated I drove out there and wasn't able to complete my lab (I had to leave). This morning (Friday at 8:30 a.m.) I waited over 40 minutes for my lab. If the wait times weren't as bad for the lab and service was continuous throughout the day, I would certainly provide a higher rating.

My insurance covers 100% of ER after a copay. However they did not cover this bill as it was not an ER. This is unacceptable. Elena and her staff have taken excellent care of her from day one. It is clear that Elena and the staff care a great deal about the residents they care for and do an excellent job. What appealed to me from the fist step I took in the home is how clean, orderly, spacious and pleasant it is. I knew that my mom would like it. She is looking much healthier and happier since she has been there. I come by for quick visits and have also brought my brother and sister and their families for visits and each time we feel welcome. A Nurse Practitioner visits monthly and he and Elena are open to discussing my mom's health needs and taking a team approach to dealing with them. Elena makes excellent suggestions - and follows up on them. They also have a hair stylist visit and provide nail care. All of this means a great deal to me. Elena is amazing, genuinely caring and engaged in providing respectful and effective home care to our elders. She has hired incredible staff. Every time I visit they are moving around either spending time with the residents, providing care or cleaning. The care providers seem happy which means to me that they are being treated well and supported. My mom and dad get a better ratio of care providers compared to a skilled nursing facility and it is more cost effective and feels like they are home. I researched adult family homes and the five star ratings here are justified. Elena's communication is fabulous. She had a team of great care providers. She and her team treat my parents with the respect they deserve having survived 80 years of age and 57 years of marriage. Elena is very open to individual needs and preferences. My mom gets a personal bed bath every day and has not looked better in the past few years. My sister and I are so relieved and grateful. We are always welcomed into the house and Elena has been responsive to all communications. A++++++++.
