I knew I had some sort of emotional connection to eating: stress, transitioning to an empty nester, instability in my job, and overall "I don't care-ism". In addition, I was a picker (stoppickingonme.com) and my face was a mess. I did have inner joy through my faith, but I wasn't happy with my physical appearance. I tried lots of fad diets, most recently the HGC and then a 30 day juice fast. I could lose about 20 pounds, but because of the underlying issues I would return to my old stress eating habits. I do understand that a business needs to keep customer bookings on time but the experience of being cancelled 3 min in was beyond extreme, that could be the difference between 2 people's watch's.
