Did not enjoy our lunch experience here. Lunch menu was very small and servers were awful. Food portions were small and over cooked.

Food Prices are even more decent than other places I've been to in the city. The service everywhere in Canada seems so bad right now but this place was a saving grace. Thanks.

The atmosphere is warm - old wooden tables, comfortable seating, a nice loft above the bar for more secluded and quiet drinking and dining, and most of the staff is very friendly, accommodating, and always provide fast service. The restrooms are spacious and ALWAYS clean! This is THE place to come for a pub lunch - I recommend the fish n' chips. I'm from California, right on the coast, and I LOVE fish n' chips... so when I came to Regina, smack dab in the middle of a landmass with no ocean, and even I'm blown away by the freshness and flavour of the fish n' chips, that's pretty insane. The oven-baked nachos are also delicious. Have a seat and wait for service, or go straight up to the bar. If you don't know what to drink, don't be intimidated! The staff is friendly and makes GREAT recommendations. If you're looking for a relaxed, easy-going atmosphere, drop by for lunch. If you don't mind it a little louder with a few more bodies in the room, it's a great place to socialize at night. A couple of things to know: Sunday night at 9:30pm is trivia night. There will be a large crowd of usually very cheerful, excited, and loud drunks. I have heard that Saturday night is "club night" - I'm not sure what the deal is about that, but my social crowd veers away from club atmosphere, so we don't go. Parking outside is metered, Sunday and "holidays" are free all day, Saturday is free for 2 hours.

The pub itself is very nice, very large with plenty of seating,…read more It has many kilts framed up on the walls, and the waitresses wear ones as well. I ended up here twice in one day because we were staying at the hotel next door, and the lounge there was closed Sun and Mon. I had a Strongbow and my GF ordered Chardonay. It was half price appy's so we ordered Nachos and Dry Ribs. Now this is where things went downhill.... Fast. My GF went to the side room where they had VLT machines. I am too cheap, and get bored too fast, with throwing money into a machine with shiny lights and cool noises, so I was at the table when the food came. The "nachos" were not at all what I was expecting ( see photos ) it was crispy French fries smothered with cheese, some peppers, and more cheese. In fairness to the Pub, the menu did say "Irish" nachos - it was me who didn't read the entire description. The dry ribs tasted awful. They were also not what I was expecting. I sent the ribs back, because my friend said she would eat the nacho fries. I ordered the hot buffalo wings. What she brought back was chicken covered in dripping pink sauce. I was disgusted. I Googled buffalo wings and showed her what they should look like - not this. She kinda got an attitude and did not offer to replace them. Needless to say, the food left much to be desired.

For food, my boyfriend ordered the BBQ Pulled Pork Burger ($21) with French onion soup ($7.5). I ordered the Bacon Mushroom Swiss Burger ($22) with Truffle Fries ($3), a white sangria ($10.5) and crème brûlée ($8) with strawberry compote for dessert. Prices are before tax and tip. The BBQ Pulled Pork Burger and french onion soup were alright. The sangria was absolutely delicious! I highly suggest it. I absolutely loved the mix of peach, pear and orange juice. The crème brûlée was extremely delicious. Best in Regina. Seriously ! And the Keg charges the same price for a THIRD of what Lancaster is offering. I also think their recipe at Lancaster is better. The truffle fries were decent. They were cold unfortunately but I was with a rather large group so I'm not going to fault them for it entirely. I actually think they would have been awesome if they were cooked a little warmer, a little crispier and didn't come with the sauce. I prefer a garlic, truffle and Parmesan flavour for the type of fries. The burger itself was actually pretty good. If it had been warmer, I think the patty itself would have been moister. That being say, it tasted fresh. Honestly I was wondering if it was mixed with bison because of the flavour. I throughly enjoy a gamey flavour and this burger had hints of it. Honestly, this burger is very close to being the best burger in Regina that I've ever had. I want to return and get a genuine sit down dinner experience with no more than 4 people. This place has the potential to produce the best burger in the city!

The staff did a great job considering two large groups walked in at the same time on a Saturday afternoon when it's supposed to be slow. They called someone in early and tried to catch up. I was a little bit behind the group so I got missed for my initial drink order and had to order at the bar. Understandable. The server got me for the next round and for my food order. I grabbed their pretzels which was HUGE. Definitely want to share this dish. They have a great cocktail list. My first round was a beer, but my second beverage was their twist on a dark and stormy. Delicious!
