They easily could have charged me more, but instead they helped me save money. That kind of honesty is hard to find in an auto repair shop. They also did some additional work that was outside the original scope of the repair. I told them I was happy to pay for the extra work, but they did not even charge me for it. I really appreciate their honesty, excellent service, and the way they treat their customers. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable and honest auto repair shop!

A few hours later…read moreI received a call and video from the service manager and mechanic telling me several steering parts were defective and repairs would cost me over $4.4K. None of the repairs had an impact on passing the inspection. Shocked, I felt something was not right so I picked up my car and told the dealer I will seek a second opinion. I found Favio on Yelp and sent him screengrabs of the video sent to me from the dealer. He contacted me immediately stating we need to talk. He told me that the parts were not defective and this is a typical tactic dealerships are using against owners. He also said he could not in all honesty perform repairs when they are even warranted. I had a very disappointing experience with Progressive Automotive and Tire Shop…read more I brought my car in for an ABS sensor issue and was charged $720 for what ended up being an oil filter housing gasket replacement. Considering the gasket itself costs around $30, the final bill felt extremely overpriced, especially since I was never given a clear breakdown that justified the cost. What concerns me even more is that I was told this repair was related to fixing my ABS sensor problem. After scanning the vehicle, I don't understand how an oil filter housing gasket would reasonably be diagnosed as the cause of an ABS warning issue. The repair did not fix the ABS problem at all. I was upfront that my main request was to have the work completed within 24 hours. I was informed there would be a $100 rush fee, which I accepted. However, I'm still left wondering where the remaining $620 in charges came from and why the pricing was so high for the work performed. I understand that labor and diagnostics cost money, but customers deserve transparent explanations, accurate diagnoses, and fair pricing. Unfortunately, I did not feel that was the case here. Based on my experience, I would recommend that anyone considering this shop ask for a detailed estimate and explanation of the diagnosis before approving repairs.
